We just returned from a week stay at this property. I was very pleased with most things.
I felt the staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The rooms, restaurants, pool area, and common areas were all very clean!
The food was actually quite good, the mushroom ravioli was some of the best I've ever had.
We reserved a family room, it was the size of a standard hotel room. This was fine, it was just my 18 year old son and myself. The issue is design, there is no privacy. There is no door between sleeping area and shower. If either of us wanted to shower or change, the other person left the room.
The other issue, which may not be an issue for early risers is the continuous slamming metal doors starting at 7:30 am. Not sure if it's housecleaning trying to wake everyone up or if guests are intentionally slamming doors. It's not like a typical hotel with wooden doors, these are metal that slam loud and echo throughout room. Others around the pool were talking about this also. Makes it a challenge to stay out and enjoy the late night activities at the resort when you know there is zero percent chance you can sleep in past 7:30.
