Property is in a good location with nice clean beach though it’s not swimmable. Pool and staff are great - polite, helpful . Fooding is average, they can level it up though the breakfast buffet is totally amazing with good options . The main issue with resort are the rooms themselves - they are old, kinda smelly with worn down rugs, the beds are uncomfortable and sofa bed completely unusable( we had to get rollaways but they were barely sleepable) and biggest issue is walls are super thin and you can hear all your neighbors. I think if they can update the rooms the property will become a lot more appealing and truly Marriott like.

The hospitality at the Marriot was exceptional. We were always greeted with a smile and a “hello.” Everyone is very hard working and they all aim to make their guests happy and comfortable. The resort was clean and the grounds extraordinarily attractive. The pool was pristine and it was always enjoyable to take a walk along the beach. Any questions or concerns were immediately addressed and we always felt safe, welcome, and taken care of. A special shout out to Ramon who always greeted us with a smile and was eager to hail us a cab or help us with our suitcases. Also, Daniel from Vallarta Tours booked us 3 amazing tours that were unforgettable. The one thing that would make our stat even greater is if there were evening activities. After dinner, you’re on your own. We would definitely return to the Marriott!

We loved staying at the Marriott PV, it was exactly what our family was looking for out Spring Break vacation. The location is the best as you have restaurants on site but at the same time if you walk out of the Hotel there are many resturantes and shopping that you can choose from.

We stayed 4 nights in a panoramic ocean view double room. Pros : It is a beautiful property with exceptional views Very clean Pool staff is very helpful Can easily book excursion at the property Pool and pool bar is amazing Coffee, ice cream cafe, bar all are very good. Cons Check in staff is not welcoming at all. Actually, not sure why but not helpful al all. You have to ask every details as well as explain them if any credits from Expedia. House keeping and room service is not consistent. Missed the service one day and you have to call multiple times for any extra accessaries You have to be sharp 9:00AM in case you like to get the good beach seats. Most are gone by 10:00AM Food is not good in any of the property restaurants. Overall 3.5 stars property.

I loved my stay at the Marriott PV. The staff was terrific, the property was beautiful & it truly was a terrific stay. The rumor has it that they are going to make this an all inclusive resort. I really hope not; this place is perfect why change it! There are great restaurants in the area & Malacon/romantic area & it is fun to get off the property a bit. The property is about 20 minutes to the boardwalk with traffic. We used Uber for all of our rides & it was great.

This is not an all inclusive from what Expedia has it under. Overall the resort has beautiful views. I would highly recommend to get the details down before arriving as to what your package does and does not include directly from the resort. I highly recommend the spa.

Second time we’ve stayed here and it doesn’t disappoint. Staff are amazing, they cater to your every need. The views and the beach are wonderful. The pool is so big, you never bump into anyone. The food at the tequila bar is awesome. We really love this property and it’s a five minute walk to the marina.

The pool was absolutely amazing. We were working and playing and there were plenty of great covered outdoor areas to do work. Everyone was so nice and hospitable. We are a vegan family and while it would’ve been great to have a few more options, the staff were very accommodating.

I love this place and so does my wife. Evidently they’re going to turn it into an all inclusive resort, so I hope they don’t screw it up. Once Private equity money gets involved sometimes they’re too focused on profitability and end up screwing it up.
