We are glad you enjoyed the staff and the room. All the rooms are different, and everyone has a personal choice of their favorite. We do have someone check on the property nightly many time for security and maintenance. As for the elevator we are heritage building we are two traditional villas made into one boutique hotel. We do not claim to be a luxury hotel, rather a unique hotel in the center of everything. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with others. We appreciate your stay with us.

All our rooms are unique and different. We checked the room that you stay in and now we accommodate a vanity mirror. So the new guests that will come can have more light. Dear Akila, We are so sorry to heard that you did not enjoy your brief stay at our Boutique Hotel, as advertised we are in the famous river Cuale. This area is of ecological importance and we do not kill the local wildlife, even for our esteemed guests. The safety of our guests is our top priority and the tiny gecko lizards are in no way dangerous they help us to control the mosquitos . About the keys as you know when we received your message about that you emailed the keys, your refund was made immediately. We are sorry that you couldn't wait a turn in check out to left the keys . Our pool and hot tub are cleaned every day and the hot tub temperature has been adjusted to x degrees F. We are grateful for the time you spent to share this feedback as we certainly believe that there is always room for improvement and your constructive feedback is very much appreciated, we already worked in the details to give the best experience to our guests !

Dear Steven, As a Boutique hotel, all our rooms are unique and different. At the time of your arrival you were given a free upgrade to a room higher in category than the room you booked, unfortunately, you did not want that room, you wanted one of our best suites in the hotel which was already destined to a person who booked that specific room in advance. You were given several options, which you declined and you wanted that specific room. For us the most important thing is to give the best service to all our guests and respect each one of them, so we could not give you that specific room. We regret that this has been a reason for your experience was not what you expected. But for us it will always be paramount to respect each and every one of our guests. We understand your discomfort that you did not get the upgrade to the room you wanted, and hence the unfolding of this experience that was not entirely positive for you. Although we sincerely regret reading that your stay at Garlands del Rio our fell short of your expectations, we are grateful for the time you spent to share this feedback of your overall holiday experience among us as we certainly believe that there is always room for improvement and your constructive feedback is very much appreciated.
