Wonderful getaway !

Beautiful location on the beach. Staff is outstanding, professional and friendly. Great getaway close to the airport. Lots of restaurants in the area. Walgreens and CVS walking distance. I would definitely return. Direct ocean front room was wonderful.

good time

Posted 22-Mar-2017
Pros: Gym is nice and the npool is great
Had a great time but there are several things that could be done to enhance the hotel. Get rid of the crows! Reduce the drink prices...I know that's not going to happen!

Perfect beach location, close to Old SanJuan

Posted 21-Mar-2017
Pros: Location and the beach.
Cons: The access card to the garage needs a revamp, we had problems a couple of times. Not a biggie.....
Location: There are a couple of restaurants at walking distance serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and a market.
With a few restaurants at walking distance, this hotel offers beach front rooms with balcony, good beach for swimming, walking or just lying around. This is around 15 min car ride to Old San Juan (make sure you'll experience a weekend at the city). Carlos one of the hotel's concierge was extremely friendly and personable, knowledgeable of the surroundings and always on point with suggestions. The breakfast buffet was really good however, my arugula dinnner salad was extremely, extremely small and very pricey for the 5 bites of arugula I had; I was disappointed at that. All in all it was a good experience.

Close to airport and beach. Just OK

Posted 17-Mar-2017
Pros: Staff was nice.
Cons: Buffet needs improving. Cleaning staff needs to do a better job.
Check -in was easy and pleasant. I prepaid room, but was offered an upgrade which I accepted. However they upgraded me to a room for those with disabilities. Door opened towards me. Bathroom was unacceptable as the fixtures were not flush to the wall. Almost like they started on repairs and did not completed. I had them change my room, which was better. I feel the cleaning staff needs to be more detailed. Overall looks clean, but looking closely, not so much so. Overall room was sufficient for my stay, but definitely overpriced.

nice hotel!

My third stay at this Hotel. Always consistent every time. The people/staff are so super friendly and helpful. The place is always clean and comfortable. The drinks were a bit pricey but in this economy I guess it's to be expected. We just love it there.

Right on the beach

Posted 16-Mar-2017
Pros: it was right on the beach, pool was good also
Cons: You really can't improve on this but, it was really close to the airport so every once in a while planes would be either coming in or flying out.
Location: Great location, walk to the grocery store, take the bus into old town
Hotel was very clean, friendly staff, balconey with a great view, beach lounges and umbrellas were free

Nice beach area.

Posted 13-Mar-2017
Pros: Hot tub and pool area very nicely landscaped and towel and beach chairs readily available.
Cons: Resort fee with tax daily per person was outrageous. Cost two of us $30 daily. Amounted to towel, beach chair access and 2 daily waters.
Location: Not a great variety of anything nearby but enough for a short stay. Walgreens and CVS and some local restaurants. Taxi to Condado offers more to do.
Rooms need a little updating but are very clean and pleasing. Menu options are not varied throughout the facility but Puerto Rico offers a lot of restaurants within a short taxi drive. Not much directly near the hotel, but stayed at Condado last visit so was looking for a quieter area.

Pros: Everything, awesome
Cons: The noise that you hear sometimes outside the balcony, sounds like a heater or something.
Location: Its relatively close to Old San Juan, I walk to the Pier, saw local band playing in the street, people dancing Meringue, was cool to see families out.
It was a beautiful stay, this was actually a birthday gift to myself. I enjoyed the five days I stayed, I love the beautiful sunrise and oceanview from my balcony, was breathtaking each morning. The food at the oceanfront restaurant Sirena; Tropical island tapas, Halibut dinner, spicy fish burger was also very delicious. My first experience at a Casino wasn't bad at all. The ambience at the hotel was most relaxing, my room was always cleaned, and the bed was comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. Carlos at the concierge, went above and beyond to get me on the snorkeling tour of Culebera, Flamenco and Culebrita beach, also the tour of the rainforest. The daily ocean sea bath is always the icing on the cake, would definitely stay at this hotel again. Awesome.
