Nice hotel but not private
This hotel and setting were very nice but busy during the day and they charged you for everything everytime you turned around... except the wifi. The most disturbing was how crowded the pool became during the day. It was apparent that the locals use it extensively. There is a large parking garage at the hotel that is filled up during the day, and although denied by the hotel staff it is obvious the outsiders park in the garage and use all of the hotels facilities. Parking is at a premium in San Juan so a convenient parking garage next to a pool and beach is nice. The casino also attaches many, which is to be expected, but they spread out like the other non-casino goers. In the mornings, before the beach/pool goers start arriving, the parking garage (and pool), are empty. When questioned about it the staff says only hotel quests are to use the facilities, for course. But they have no way of identifying/differentiating hotel guests from others... We will not go back. Plus, although not a disturbing to me, but my wife didn't like it. It is located across the street from the airport... the noise from the airplane take offs were obvious... although you get use to it.
