Guest services prefers the guests that are there for events. There are extra charges after you prepay for accommodations. If you open the windows, everything in the room will be wet. You have to ask for everything that is supposed to be included in your stay. There is no early check in. There are no airport shuttles. Overpriced food and property. The area is nice but the hotel is not worth paying for. Choose better and book directly so you can resolve issues.

1) Bathroom glass door was not functioning properly to the toilet area. Top of the door was interfered with the fixed portion of the glass.
A technician must look into it and fix it.
2) Toilet was not flushing properly some of the times. It needs new flapper, chain and flush handle.
3) The list said that snack/ chocolate will be replenished every day and mentioned to enjoy them. However, most of the days chocolate was not provided and when asked, they said that they did not have it in their cart.
4) I was surprised with resort fees charged every day and they were not same all the days. The fees were too high for the services we have received.
We truly had a great time while staying at the Condado Vanderbilt. The best part of our trip was the impeccable service we received during our entire stay. Most specifically at the pool during the day. Michael and Luis were more than attentive to our needs and went way above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The main pool was closed for repair which was upsetting at first but because of Michael and Luis it turned out to be completely fine. The food at the hotel is good but completely overpriced ($25 for a kid size plate of plain pasta and butter with a bit of grated cheese and bread) and very limited options (lunch and dinner menus are the same). But overall, it is definitely a very nice place to stay.
The staff and location make the Vanderbilt special. The views are gorgeous and the staff is so nice and respectful. Attention to detail is fabulous. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again!!
Wonderful time for a quick weekend vacation. Amazing property with views that made us not want to leave the pools. Our room probably need just a little update and maintenance, but nothing took away from our enjoyment. Highly recommend
My husband and I had a wonderful time here. We loved our patio it was huge. We did a lot of exploring so we didn’t stay at the hotel a lot. I did feel like the pool area was a little small and definitely could have used some music. But it was beautiful.
Overall a nice hotel. The maid service was very nice and pleasant.
Overall a nice experience.

Nothing was especial or unic about this property. Too expensive.
My room, we had alot of problems with the toilet, and they never fixed right.
Telephone never worked,
Excellent staff, hotel is luxury and comfortable. The room upgrade was provided for no additional fee. The room was the corner studio with two balconies.
The only downside is daily cleaning wasn’t so good.
We booked here because of the location and the prestine property! But the staff is amazing here. Very friendly and eager to help and assist. Luis Alvarez is a leader in that department.
Our flight was cancelled and we had to extend 3 days. Luis went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and made the changes painless. Then thanked us for staying with them at the Vanderbilt. Plus making us laugh and smile when we could have been stressed out from our flight cancellation ordeal.
The hotel was just beautiful. Our room was very comfortable. They had a nice variety of restaurants on-site for both the casual and upscale dining experience. The infinity pool overlooking the ocean was phenomenal. To top it off, the staff was friendly, helpful, and provided outstanding service.

Limited entertainment opportunities, especially for teenage kids; no water sports activities except for unprofessional kayaking and outdated paddleboard nearby; no referral for other water related activities such as jet skiing; no adult pools for swimming; no whirlpools near main (mediocre wading pool). No play area for children. No activity area for older kids. Too focused on business meetings. Hotel should invest in the next door property and develop a true resort facility with real pool for adults and enter into agreements with water activities center in close proximity to hotel Otherwise, boring!
Amazing view from both decks. Sunrise from our dining room deck felt like we were on a private deck on a Cruise ship. Our deck off the living room gave us ocean, pool, and sunsets. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and our Butler went beyond expectations. Would definitely recommend staying here.
This is my fifth stay at the Condado Vanderbilt. I love the size of the property, in-facility dining options, but also close to a busy shopping and dining area. Staff are pleasant, helpful and always present to assist. I always feel safe, and enjoy the quietness. Highly recommend!
The property was beautifully decorated and everything had a reason. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of things to do at the hotel with the constant entertainment. Would definitely stay here again. And the fact that it was on the water was a great plus

The Condado Vanderbilt is definitely a nice hotel, a 4-star hotel at a 5-star price. Good not excellent.
We had a wonderful experience at the Condado Vanderbilt. One of the best-run hotels we have ever stayed at. The staff was amazing. The food and service were excellent.
I liked the hotel more each day. I wish there was a cafe in it , but other than that - no complaints .... The staff was very helpful and exceptionally polite.
This is one of the only hotels that had a private entrance to a beach, chairs and towels available on the beach. A pool, pool, and infinity pool, a hot tub, three different types of restaurants available for in location dining or room service. It truly was a magical place! The people are so kind.
This was a very pretty old historic property, The staff was helpful and easy to communicate with. We needed to move rooms and they were able to accommodate. We were originally on the front of the building level 200 right by the driveway for deliveries. Very noisy trucks were backing in all night with loud back up signals. I would not recommend that floor for that reason. The room was pretty . It was in the original part of the building. Lots of marble which I don't think helped with the noise level.Overall a nice hotel friendly, helpful staff. Location is great, Very walkable close to shops and restaurants. I would happily stay here again.
