Pros: Location.
Cons: Hotel needs new mattresses.
Location: Restaurants and the beach.
Terrible beds and our room was not ready when we arrived, we were given the keys and when we open the door the bed was not made and room was dirty. We were told that if you had any issues to email Expedia.

Great time too bad it had to end...ugh.

Highly recommend the shuttle to the hotel. I checked in without any hassle and walked two blocks to the beach. Three days and still can't believe the music, food and beaches. The Casa Coronado Hotel was perfect for what I needed: a place to sleep, close to the beach and extra money for beer. Now hurry up and get down here!!!

Hotel is close the the Ashford Hospital

Posted 01-May-2016
This hotel is really close the the Ashford Hospital where I needed to be. Over all the room was really clean but they need to get modern. No phone, coffee maker, and refrigerator. This hotel is good for a over night only.

My Puerto Rico vacation home.

Pros: No frills but a great, clean place to stay. Frills can be found nearby. Staff members are helpful and friendly. Slept with air conditioner on low spd.
Cons: Exceeded my expectations considering the affordable room rate. Hangup clothes limited to 14 items to fit available space. I would change nothing.
Location: Everything is within a walking distance on nearby Ashford Street; affordable restaurants, night life, bike rentals, day-rate gym, and bus stop at CVS.
Clean, affordable hotel with comfortable 2nd floor patio, near the beach and night life. Private restroom+hot shower. No drawers but a chest with padded top for a seat. Room safe has electric four digit lock that you set. Hangup clothes limited. Adequate 22" color cable TV. Room is entered from from the front desk using a secure, inside stairway. A chair that can be moved into the room is located adjacent to the entrance. Adequate public transportation is accessible starting with a $21 price-controlled taxi from the airport. The bus stop is at a nearby CVS. A neighborhood grocery store is across the street from hotel. Hotel is located a block and a half from a Walgreen and a CVS that sell everything you might require to include bottled alcohol beverages. Affordable restaurants are near the hotel. Breakfast starts at $4; expect $10 up for lunch or dinner. Hotel is only three short blocks from public beaches and tidal pools. It is an easy $.75 bus ride to Viejo (old) San Juan which provides an indescribable cultural experience that includes street musicians and entertainers, international cuisine, churches, museums, diverse art forms and the Spanish forts. The architecture is stunning. A safe environment with police within sight everywhere you go. Local residents are eager to provide assistance, speak English and give good advice when responding to questions. Everything encountered was family friendly. If you get bored in this beautiful city, it's your own fault.

Hotel near beach

No elevator, no soapdish in the shower, no closet, lid for the toilet. The staff was very nice, the room was disappointing for the price. Would not recommend it.
