Perfect spot for a much needed vacation
My girlfriend and I booked this resort sort of last minute. We have been to Punta Cana for an all inclusive in the past and liked it, but this place blew it away. The resort is beautiful- well maintained, great set up, a lot of room, plenty of bars, food options, and the beach is gorgeous. The open air lobby is a great way to welcome guests. The resort is sort of broken up into different sections, so you don't get tired of the same thing over and over. You have the lobby area where you can hang. Then there is the little outside veranda with tables and chairs to enjoy the beautiful weather. Next is the ponds/fountains that separates the front of the resort from the pool area. The pool is huge, and has tons of chairs and activities for all. The pool bar is a plus. The staff is constantly entertaining people at the pool with contests, etc. Beyond the pool is a nice buffer until you get to the gorgeous beach. Plenty of chairs. Beach bar right there for convenience. Options to sit under the palm umbrellas for those of us that need shade, plus plenty of sand to soak in the sun, and then trees you can sit amongst to enjoy the shade and the breeze. The beach is public, so the vendors can talk to you, but they are harmless. They are just poor folks looking to make a few bucks. They want you to come to the flea market next door to buy souvenirs. It is totally safe. Just be smart about what you buy and what to expect.
