We got off to a bad start when we were immediately offered a room upgrade at an additional cost and accepted it without looking at the room first and the location. The room was closer to the pool and the beach but the up charge was not worth it as all the rooms are the same. We have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and this one didn't disappoint. The Expedia concierage, Wendy Soto is extremely helpful and knows her stuff. The staff at the restaurants were all very friendly and well trained although their command of English could have been better. The daily buffets were well presented and varied and the three specialty restaurants were very good...we liked the Brazilian the best. The entertainment at the nightly shows were excellent....dancing was very well choreographed at a high semi-professional level. The resort maintains several spectacular peacocks and pink flamingos.....very photogenic!
The downer was the weather during the week that we stayed.....cloudy and rainy with the exception of the day that we left!....can't blame the resort for that.
