"Our host Jason went out of his way to ensure we had a good stay at his place. We had support in getting to use a local pool, with groceries and transportation to our next location to mention a few. "Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

"This beautiful home is exactly how described and pictured - a true oasis! We had a wonderful time with our family of 7 adults and resident iguanas, birds, and even howler monkeys that were heard but not seen. We felt safe and welcomed the entire time. A/C is in the bedrooms only so the rest of the house can get a little warm. I think a place of this size with A/C throughout would probably far exceed our budget. If you get warm, take a dip in the beautiful pool!"
