Very nice staff but hotels rooms are in bad shape

Posted 09-Feb-2017
The staff was very helpful and nice but rooms are falling apart . Food is ok . The carpets are torn and hotel needs a makeover. It's very close to airport and has a shuttle so if you are staying for a day than it is fine.

VIntage Sheraton Hotel

Posted 22-Dec-2016
Pros: The Classic Sheraton look and the friendly attitude of all staff members.
Cons: Renovate now.
Location: Excellent location. Everything you need is there.
Classic Sheraton Hotel. Need for updating now, but still a lovely hotel with the distinctive Sheraton look. I loved it.

SHOCKED at the state of this hotel

Posted 28-Nov-2016
Pros: the staff was very nice and helpful - I was able to switch rooms to a slightly better room
Cons: the hotel needs to be re done-everything is old and the rug is stained In the rooms and though out the property
I asked for a quite room & was assured I had one because I needed to wake up very early. The girl who did the ck in (I did not get her name) assured me I had a quiet room. I was given a room next to the elevator-tried to make the best of it but when I heard the people across the hall slamming doors (after 10pm) & yelling loudly I decided to switch rooms. Before switching I discovered both phones in room had no dial tone and the clock radio did not have instructions to set it (was showing the wrong time) - It was late and I needed to wake up at 5am. My own cell phone needed was not working properly so it was important that I get a wake up call at 5am. I also wanted to set clock alarm. I went to frt desk and they called maint tech but he could not fix the phone or set the clock radio (he said "there are no instructions to set the clock") I agreed.-maint person heard the loud people across the hall from me and I told him I was going to switch rooms he was shocked the frt desk gave me this room in the first place being next to elevator-finally when I spk with a different frt desk clerk named Charletty she solved the problem by giving me another room in a quiet location and set the wake up call for me-clock in the new room did have instructions so I was able to set the time/alarm also for back up. Charletty is a great person who solved the problem and she was very helpful and understanding during this process.

Beware Questionable Area

Posted 14-Nov-2016 on Hotels
The hotel is rundown and in need of some serious updating. But that's not the reason I gave it such a low rating. Beware, this hotel is in a questionable area. One might think that since it's near the airport it would be a relatively safe area but its not. And the hotel has no security what so ever. The back doors to the hotel remain open all night with no security features like key entry only after hours. There is also a huge amount of foot traffic in front of the hotel. I was traveling with my young child and did not feel at all safe. And this is coming from a woman who lives in a large urban area.

The rooms were run down!

Posted 13-Nov-2016 on Hotels
The rooms were run down! The bathrooms had peeling paint and water damage. When they restocked my rooms they didn't give me any washcloth. and it did not appear that they wipe down anything in the room. also, at this point you do expect everyone to have a refrigerator. It seems like it should be a standard feature. The check-in and check-out staff were very friendly and helpful. also, the gym equipment and pool area were well maintained, but for the cost and for being a Sheraton I expected more.

honeymooners nightmare!

Posted 12-Nov-2016
Cons: Customer service!!!!!
I called the hotel days before informing them my wife and I would be spending our first night at that hotel and how we were excited. When we arrived we were carrying all our luggage and wedding gifts and the front desk girl couldn't so much as to offer a hotel luggage trolley. I was charged a room fee without being told I was being charged and when I asked about it all the girl did was point at a sign that states they would charge a fee.

The hotel is run down on the outside and need upgrading. The carpets are dirty and we had to requested a mini refrigerator in our room that took a day. You can get food in and around the area easily so that was good. For a Sheraton we expected more, a lot more.

Nice hotel for overnight

Posted 08-Nov-2016
Pros: The club room amenities were nice. The workout area and pool were also a nice feature.
Cons: Bathroom needed a bit of updating - new toilet seat a must. Not dirty, but definitely not new.
Location: Very centrally located. Easy to get to I95 and local attractions.
We stayed here for one night on the club level. It was an enjoyable stay, quiet and clean. We would definitely stay again.
