SHOCKED at the state of this hotel

Posted 28-Nov-2016
Pros: the staff was very nice and helpful - I was able to switch rooms to a slightly better room
Cons: the hotel needs to be re done-everything is old and the rug is stained In the rooms and though out the property
I asked for a quite room & was assured I had one because I needed to wake up very early. The girl who did the ck in (I did not get her name) assured me I had a quiet room. I was given a room next to the elevator-tried to make the best of it but when I heard the people across the hall slamming doors (after 10pm) & yelling loudly I decided to switch rooms. Before switching I discovered both phones in room had no dial tone and the clock radio did not have instructions to set it (was showing the wrong time) - It was late and I needed to wake up at 5am. My own cell phone needed was not working properly so it was important that I get a wake up call at 5am. I also wanted to set clock alarm. I went to frt desk and they called maint tech but he could not fix the phone or set the clock radio (he said "there are no instructions to set the clock") I agreed.-maint person heard the loud people across the hall from me and I told him I was going to switch rooms he was shocked the frt desk gave me this room in the first place being next to elevator-finally when I spk with a different frt desk clerk named Charletty she solved the problem by giving me another room in a quiet location and set the wake up call for me-clock in the new room did have instructions so I was able to set the time/alarm also for back up. Charletty is a great person who solved the problem and she was very helpful and understanding during this process.

honeymooners nightmare!

Posted 12-Nov-2016
Cons: Customer service!!!!!
I called the hotel days before informing them my wife and I would be spending our first night at that hotel and how we were excited. When we arrived we were carrying all our luggage and wedding gifts and the front desk girl couldn't so much as to offer a hotel luggage trolley. I was charged a room fee without being told I was being charged and when I asked about it all the girl did was point at a sign that states they would charge a fee.

Nice hotel for overnight

Posted 08-Nov-2016
Pros: The club room amenities were nice. The workout area and pool were also a nice feature.
Cons: Bathroom needed a bit of updating - new toilet seat a must. Not dirty, but definitely not new.
Location: Very centrally located. Easy to get to I95 and local attractions.
We stayed here for one night on the club level. It was an enjoyable stay, quiet and clean. We would definitely stay again.

For the price this hotel was very nice...

Hotel and staff were friendly and available. The room was well maintained. One thing that could of been cleaner were the hall way floors.

Run down Property. Had to try three rooms

Posted 07-Nov-2016
Pros: Not much, frankly. Its run down and priced high anyway.
Cons: Rooms not ready, cold lobby coffee, broken printer, breakfast EXTRA. Generally run down.
Location: Basic amenities OK near by.

One of the last hotels available for a reason

Posted 31-Oct-2016
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lobby and dining facilities were quite pleasant. However, our stay was plagued by multiple issues. Temperature in showers were never consistent (ranged from very hot to cold within a matter of minutes); wifi was difficult to access and frequently crashed; elevetor was broken; beds were uncomfortable.

Location: If you have a car its easy to get around. Close to stores and schools and downtown Providence.
Staff was helpful and friendly. My son forgot his phone charger and they were willing to mail it to us but we wound up picking it up. Beds comfortable. Everything was good.

Not pleased at all

Posted 18-Oct-2016
Pros: The price, but I guess you get what you pay for....just disappointed for such a brand hotel.
Cons: See comments
Location: Airport directly behind...if flying in. Ihop if you need breakfast, Chipotle I'd you want fast food fare.
Thought I had gotten great deal, but I ended up in the basement of the hotel in a "king room" next to what was the utility room or something. Went to take shower and water went from hot to cold and would take a while to get warm again. Poor cell phone reception. Didn't think it was cleaned properly prior to my stay
