Close to airport

Pros: Good Location.
Cons: General cleanliness/room appearance.
Location: Perfect for late arrival/early departure. A couple local bars/pubs with pleasant staff near by, but it'll be a 15 minute walk.
As it says, very close to airport. That's the main perk of this location. Not exactly in a super "nice" part of the city (considering I've never been here before). Like most airports there isn't a lot of stuff within walking distance. All things considered, it fulfilled all of my needs. Hotel was a little bit run down considering it's a sheraton. Bathroom a little weathered and it seemed cleaning staff/owner, has little invested in the room appearance. In the end, it was comfortable and I felt safe.

Shuttle to from airport very convenient Staff friendly and helpful Room needs tlc Lower level room was like being in basement and would suggest not accepting that location Linens left on hallway floor ugh

Pros: Room was large and clean, access to airport and downtown Providence was easy.
Cons: Staffing.
Location: Near airport, easy drive to downtown Providence, Newport, etc.
A mixed experience. Room was great. Food (bar food at 10 pm after late arrival) was excellent, as was bartender. Breakfast (not included) was also excellent, and reasonably priced. On the other hand, hotel is understaffed. Room service dishes and discarded towels out in the hallway for hours. And no hot water at all when we got up in the morning at least until 11:45 when we had to check out. Desk was in the dark about why, when we inquired, and could not find General Manager (presumably at home) to find out what to do. Hotel phone in room also out of order, so had to walk to desk to inquire. Big hotel, long walk. Would stay there again, however, outages of hot water and phone presumably got fixed.

Close to the Airport

Cons: The pillows and warming up the indoor pool.
We stayed here because we had an early flight the next morning. The pillows are absolutely awful, and the indoor pool was cold. Other than that, everything else was good.

Old hotel, needs improvement

All in all it was ok. Room smells a little, I even noticed the same smell was stuck on the clothes that were in the closet. Shower needs maintenance, water pressure is week. Parking is an issue, most times I had to park all the way in the back of the hotel and walk to reach an entrance. No clear signs on where to get it or get out to the parking lot. Not that it matters, but I found the last guest review card on the desk, no one picked it up before I check in apparently

The room had a double bed, not the King I ordered for myself and guest. Room smelled dank and moldy. Lost power in middle of night and had to shower in the dark. Absolutely worst hotel I have ever had.

I can not believe that Sheraton customer service can be this down graded. I've forgot some item in the room when I checked out. So I called the hotel 4 hours after I checked out apparently there was no answer. I also tried to contact the general manager, he seems to be out as well. So I left a message in his voicemail, this is almost two weeks later I never once heard back from anyone. I tried to contact the hotel couple of times during the week, still no answer. Just today, somebody answered my phone and put me on hold for 15 mins before it goes to housekeeping voicemail. I just can't believe how reputed hotel can be this unresponsive.

Easy access. Close to everything important to us.

Pros: Staff. Hardworking, willing to go the extra.
Cons: a few repairs to the facility, nothing major, did not detract from stay
Location: close to everything. Immediate area fairly heavy traffic, neighboring businesses older or closed.
Though in need of some love and care, it was exceptionally clean. Housekeeping staff are among the best I've ever encountered. Everything worked as it should. Would stay here again and recommend to others..
