A Very Good Value

Posted 17-Nov-2015
Pros: Cleanliness, comfort, convenience, staff. The free coffee in the lobby is very much appreciated.
Cons: I would like a refrigerator in the room.
Location: Convenient to airport, highways and numerous restaurants.
I reviewed this hotel in September 2015 and said then that it was clean, comfortable and convenient - that is still true. I neglected to say quiet which I must add now. I took the quietness for granted but the realization came to me that this hotel is right next to the airport yet you would never know it if you were expecting to hear the usual noise associated with airports. This visit began with a smile and welcome from the front desk clerk (Albany) who was most pleasant and efficient. I guess I'm kind of spoiled in the sense that I have high expectations when I stay at a hotel so I take for granted those things like a comfortable bed etc. but I must say you couldn't find a more comfortable bed and bedding than here.

If you have to pay more than $65 per night run!

Posted 07-Nov-2015
I paid $65 per night for 2 nights thru Expedia...for that rate it's worth it..not a penny more! Esp if u like breakfast..the "continental breakfast" was just awful! Even the beverages..I mean how do u screw up orange juice?? Just Disgusting! Front desk people delivered s below average level of service..ironically there is an awesome lady that works the breakfast area by the bar that delivers a great customer experience just not indicative of the taste and quality of the food..even the Bannas were old and rotten! Room itself was not bad and the wifi worked well bathrooms just need updating (looked and felt very 80s) and the last thing I remember is handing the front desk my room key to check out and the 2 older ladies upfront barely looked at me took the key and continued talking to each other..not the warm "thank u for your stay" goodbye Im used to at better hotels...smh

Great location to see the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacul

Posted 01-Nov-2015
Location: Near the Roger Williams Zoo
WE loved that the Hotel was so close (4 miles) to the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular and there were several places to eat nearby.

Convenience Visit

Posted 21-Oct-2015
Pros: Location - early morning breakfast - 24 hour shuttle to airport.
Cons: There was no hotel directory in the room - we had to search out the vending area, and there was no TV channel listing. TV stations kept breaking up
This was a very quick overnight - prepping for a very early flight the next morning. This is a great location with 24 hour shuttle service, a really early breakfast (4:30 AM) which worked out great. Very friendly staff at the desk and in the small lounge. Bed was very clean and comfortable. Convenient to walk to Bertucci's for a nice dinner.

Disappointing road-stop

Posted 19-Oct-2015
Pros: nice elevator
Cons: staff, paint, cleaning, you name it
Location: U.S. 1 - very busy road.
Reminds me of the old Howard Johnson motels. Worn down, grumpy staff, dining area is a mess. Never again.

Close to airport

Posted 16-Oct-2015
Hotel room was clean, the bed was much more comfortable than my own, and I actually got a very good night sleep. Bath room and tub for a little dated, water pressure was average.

Would not stay here again....

Posted 12-Oct-2015
Pros: Friendly staff, room seemed clean as far as sheets and linens and bathroom.
Cons: Need to deodorize the rooms better. Fix the doors so they don't slam shut. Repair card reader on outside corridor for added safely.
Location: Airport location. Close to shopping malls and Roger Williams Zoo.
Room looked clean, but had an overwhelming "pet" smell. Staff was friendly, but the hotel was very loud as far as doors slamming shut. The door to our room had no spring to prevent it from slamming shut so we were careful to close it slowly. We could hear several other rooms doors slamming as well. Also, we noticed the side entrance to the hallway (we were on the first floor) was not locked, so anyone could walk right in, bypassing the front desk. We used the door ourselves and can confirm that card reader was not working and the door was simply unlocked.

Outdated, dirty, loud, the outside entrance didn't look inviting at all!

Dear Valued Guest, I apologize that you felt that the building and entrance were outdated. As the season do change we add festive decorations to the property. We hope the next time you are in the area you will re-consider the Comfort Inn. As we are decorated for the fall. Nick Gengenbach
