Stayed in one of St Mellion Estate cottages, nestled within a small wooded area making for a quiet and tranquil stay. Very clean and tidy cottage, master bedroom with ensuite including bath and shower and shower for second bedroom.
There was a fully fitted kitchen with all white goods washing machine, dishwasher etc. Also a good stock of cutlery, crockery pots and pans for home cooking, and a few sachets of tea and coffee just to get you going, nice touch.
There was a little patio area accessed via lounge patio doors where we found rattan table and chairs, nice to sit out if the weather is kind.
The Main hotel and club house is a short walk (or drive if its raining) where we found excellent amenities, restaurants and bar, good sized pools. One pool had three lanes, slow to fast swimmers, other was open and relaxed, there is also a well equipped gym.
Final thoughts, we did enjoy our stay and would recommend it. All staff were friendly and helpful, will be returning to St Mellion Estate again, may try the hotel next time?
