It was ok

Posted 20-Jul-2016
Pros: I liked the location of the hotel. Nice view of the water.
Cons: Towels around the pool. More lighting at the reception.
Location: Just a few little boutiques on the other side of the road. Not nice stuff and expensive.
There was an old band aid on the floor in the bedroom from the people before us. That was gross. There was no towels around the pool. We had to go ask for towels at the reception. I was disappointed. By the picture online, I was expecting a better place. The place was dark and old. We had breakfast at the restaurant and the dishes was dirty.

Nice hotel for our family

Posted 15-Jul-2016
Our family of 5 stayed here. It was very clean and the staff were all very welcoming and helpful. It definitely needs some help to get out of the 80's on the inside but we weren't too worried about that. It was very clean, we found the beds to be very comfortable, and the room was a good size for the 5 of us (we did have to pay $10 a night for the cot). The pool was the best we had seen for quite a while in a hotel (larger than most modern hotels). This hotel is right beside the pier and small shops. There was no complimentary breakfast here. We would stay again at this hotel.

Lovely architecture, loosey beds

The "resort" is an urban hotel by the harbour with a big lawn. No "resort" amenities. The restaurant is a bit pricy. It is well located to get out in Summerside and enjoy tbe city.

NEVER AGAIN!!! Definitely not Summerside's "finest

Posted 18-Apr-2016
Pros: Nothing! thank goodness for the pool(which was heavy on the chlorine) and location or we would have left, if i hadn't already paid Expedia.
Cons: everything...have a nicer person on desk, she was there all day all weekend and was terrible!!!! up date your rooms. change your rates.
-front desk lady upon check was rude and unknowledgeable when asked questions about guest services -NO free cont. breakfast (even though they can resturaunt on site) -no heat in room had to be switched -stained carpets -door on first room did not work -out dated and run down looking -cracks in tile in second room -overpriced for what your getting -sauna did not work -

One of the nicer hotels in Summerside

Posted 14-Dec-2015
Pros: The Staff was very friendly and the location was perfect.
Cons: the room could be cleaner and updated.
Location: I was there for business so didn't take advantage of the surroundings. In the summer it would be perfect as it's close to amenities and the boardwalk
The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. There was still garbage in one of the garbage cans in my room and the water glasses in the bathroom were dirty. The thermostat didn't' work and when I opened the window to cool the room, I let cigarette smoke smell from the smokers below the window in. That was not pleasant. However, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. I'm not sure I would stay there again.

Wonderful experience!

Friendly staff. Food was excellent. I found it to be a nice relaxing atmosphere. Great view of the water (room450). I stayed an extra night because I found it restful. I look forward to staying there again.

Good for a sleep, but very dated.

Nothing specifically wrong with the hotel, but here is some feedback. Rooms are terribly dated. To the point where I thought all I needed was a rocking chair and 5 cats and I'd be in a great grandmother's room. Shower curtain didn't fit the shower, it was too small leaving a gap on either side for water to leak, and it looks like it was cut to "fit" using a pair of scissors, crooked. WiFi, while free is super slow, and open. Not at all secure. Anyone with knowledge could easily access other hotel resources.

Pros: It was very close to the theatre that we were going to a show at night & didn't want to drive home later that night.
Was close to the theatre to which we were attending a show at that night.

Pros: Size of the room.
Cons: Mattresses could be upgraded
Location: Good location. Close to the wharf and downtown core
Overall the hotel was quite nice. The room was large, however, the mattresses were too soft. The restaurant was excellent.
