Pictures of rooms are very deceiving.

Posted 02-Sep-2016
Pros: Food and service was good in restaurant
Location: Brothers 2 theatre
We paid almost 100$ more for a larger room with amenities. Essentially what we got was the same room as a standard except we got a coffee maker we were told. The coffee maker made two cups of coffee because we only had one bag. No fridge. No view.

Pros: Great location and proximity to the ocean. Incredible view and easy access to the boardwalk.
Cons: Place seemed to be terribly understaffed. Waited > 10 minutes just to check in. It is an old facility that is in need of some upgrades.
I was disappointed. Pictures online appear much better than in reality.

Hotel did not have wifi and noise level from hall way doors could be heard in room too much. Staff was very pleasant to deal with.

Stay in August

Posted 04-Aug-2016
Pros: Listed on Expedia
Cons: See above comments
Location: Shopping close by, boardwalk across the street was very nice.
Great location and nice to have a little boardwalk across the street. The hotel staff are very good, friendly and helpful. The hotel is older and needs work. My room had no air conditioning on a hot day so was very uncomfortable.

It was ok

Pros: I liked the location of the hotel. Nice view of the water.
Cons: Towels around the pool. More lighting at the reception.
Location: Just a few little boutiques on the other side of the road. Not nice stuff and expensive.
There was an old band aid on the floor in the bedroom from the people before us. That was gross. There was no towels around the pool. We had to go ask for towels at the reception. I was disappointed. By the picture online, I was expecting a better place. The place was dark and old. We had breakfast at the restaurant and the dishes was dirty.

Nice hotel for our family

Posted 15-Jul-2016
Our family of 5 stayed here. It was very clean and the staff were all very welcoming and helpful. It definitely needs some help to get out of the 80's on the inside but we weren't too worried about that. It was very clean, we found the beds to be very comfortable, and the room was a good size for the 5 of us (we did have to pay $10 a night for the cot). The pool was the best we had seen for quite a while in a hotel (larger than most modern hotels). This hotel is right beside the pier and small shops. There was no complimentary breakfast here. We would stay again at this hotel.

Lovely architecture, loosey beds

The "resort" is an urban hotel by the harbour with a big lawn. No "resort" amenities. The restaurant is a bit pricy. It is well located to get out in Summerside and enjoy tbe city.
