"Breakfast was adequate, but the same every day, no variety. Bathroom is way too small. Trim was unfinished. Bed and pillows were good. HVAC and TV worked well. Staff was really helpful and friendly."

"This is the best! Small roadside motel that has been totally updated. No staff on site - key code is provided in email. 24 hr vending - well stocked. Small Cafe on the property serves breakfast and lunch from 7 am to 3 pm. Breakfast was fantastic! About 6 miles from Floyd, VA. Floyd is also a great little town! The Country Store has great sandwiches and a soda fountain and bluegrass music on Friday nights."

"The home was very clean, spacious and very well equipped with everything one may need. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and then some. Communication with the host was fantastic as we had all of the information we needed before we ever got to the home and during our stay. We loved the outside spaces and the open floor plan inside. The home is very close to town (a few miles) and is in a small neighborhood that is great for walking. We did not use the hot tub but I imagine that would have been as fantastic as the rest of the home. Great place to stay close to town; there is also a park with pickleball courts and walking paths nearby. We had a fantastic time on our trip and will look to stay here again when we come to town."

"We had the perfect weekend at this cabin. The hosts were amazing and upgraded us at no extra charge, allowed us early check-in at no cost and brought carrot cake when we arrived. The cabin was peaceful and we had daily deer visits. We plan to rebook again in the spring."

"You simply cannot go wrong choosing this property!The “It’s 5 O’Clock Here” cabin is absolutely adorable and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. When my wife and I arrived, we were immediately impressed by how absolutely immaculate the entire place was. Everything was clean, comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully taken care of.We celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary here, and we honestly could not have chosen a better place. We had a fantastic and incredibly relaxing stay, and we truly felt like we had nothing to worry about.We explored Fancy Gap, Galax, and Hillsville, and had an absolute blast spending the day in Mount Airy, NC—Andy Griffith’s hometown, which is only about 20 minutes away. We also did quite a bit of hiking and were completely taken aback by the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.But some of our favorite moments were actually spent right at the cabin. We spent so much time in the evenings and early mornings sitting on the covered porch, relaxing in the hot tub, reading a book, or simply enjoying a meal together. And the view from that porch is absolutely awesome!We appreciated the property and the host so much that we're actually entertaining the idea of coming back and renting both cabins—one for us and one for my wife's brother and his wife. That should tell you just how much we enjoyed our stay!To make a long story short: RENT THIS PLACE! You will have absolutely no regrets. Thank you Laura!"
