ibis budget Langres

ibis budget Langres
3.0 star property
Langres
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (64 reviews)
"Great location for a stopover or a short visit in Langres. The hotel and rooms are clean, small though, but for the purpose of getting a good night sleep and taking a shower it is an excellent choice. It's called IBIS budget for a reason, hence do not expect a luxury hotel. My rating is relative to the property category. I would go back anytime."

"When I arrived at this property the owner finally answered the door, she said she had no knowledge of my booking. Finally I had to email her a copy of my confirmation. This wasn't made any easier by her statement that "she spoke no English" - the website clearly states multilingual staff. (In fact it later became clear she did speak English). The 'living-room' is actually set out as a shop and did not feel welcoming - I was not invited to use it anyway. The only restaurant in Salives was unable...

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Praslay?
The best area to stay in Praslay is within the village centre itself, as it offers the most convenient access to local amenities and a peaceful, rural experience.

Praslay is a small, quiet village located in the Grand Est region of France, primarily known for its tranquil countryside and the historic Forges de Praslay. The village centre is quite compact, with a few charming guesthouses and holiday rentals dotted around the main street and its immediate surroundings. You'll find it's very walkable, allowing you to easily reach the local church or simply enjoy a stroll through the fields.

For couples seeking a relaxing escape, staying in the village centre provides an ideal base. You'll appreciate the quiet evenings and the opportunity to enjoy long walks in the surrounding countryside, perhaps exploring the paths around the nearby forest. It's superb for unwinding and enjoying the slow pace of rural life.

Families will also find the village centre suitable. The lack of heavy traffic makes it a pleasant environment for children to explore safely, and many accommodations offer gardens where they can play.
When is the best time to go to Praslay?
The best time to visit Praslay is during the late spring and summer months, from May to September, when the weather is generally warm and pleasant.

During these months, you can expect longer daylight hours and comfortable temperatures, which are ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside, enjoying outdoor activities, and visiting local attractions. The natural beauty of the Grand Est region is at its peak, with lush greenery and blooming wildflowers.

For those who enjoy outdoor pursuits like hiking, cycling, or simply taking leisurely strolls, July and August offer the warmest conditions. This period is great for families looking to enjoy the natural surroundings and perhaps a picnic by a lake.

If you prefer slightly cooler temperatures and fewer crowds, May, June, and September are excellent choices.
