We visited for 5 days in October and got a balcony room with a view of the palace, which I highly recommend!! We were on the 7th floor and I'm pretty sure were one of very few up there because it was quiet all week. We enjoyed each evening on our balcony with no disruptions. That is, until the weekend. Our last night (a Saturday) was loud. The walls are pretty thin and there were a couple of pretty disrespectful people on their balconies, blasting music. Thankfully it was our last night so it wasn't that big of a deal. It wouldn't have been an issue at all, but the hotel turned off their air conditioning, without warning us, so the only way to cool off the room was to have the windows open. Either be hot or deal with the inconsiderate people. The balcony, though, was the best part of the room and we'll be booking rooms with balconies from now on!!
The bed was decently comfortable. Have definitely slept on worse.
The room was satisfactory. We didn't spend much time in there.
The refrigerator didn't cool, at all. It wouldn't shut completely and It wasn't a big enough deal for us to mention it. The breakfast had a larger assortment of food than we expected!! The coffee was good and the food was satisfactory for it being buffet style.
Check in and check out were both simple. They helped us arrange transport to the airport both ways, which was nice!! There was an atm in the lobby as well which was convenient.
