Pretty bad
The bathroom smelled like sewage. It was marginally clean, so I think there was something wrong with the plumbing. We had to keep the door shut to prevent the smell from inundating the bedroom. Also, the bathroom’s light was controllable only via motion, so it would turn off while you’re taking a shower and at night blind you. The beds were not comfortable—old and had lost tension. There was only one available outlet, behind the piece of furniture that held the water boiler. The breakfast was good, however, and the staff were attentive. Essentially, the room was quite bad but the breakfast made up for a lot.

First class hotel, great 4 Sparta prague stadium
Outrageously good value for money, we were over for the Sparta Prague v rangers match. The hotel is about 15mins walk to the stadium. Hotel was first class, rooms clean and comfortable, reception staff amazing. Area is surrounded by bars and eating places. Thank you

Fairly average hotel
The hotel itself looked rather dated and could do with modernization. The room could do with a full length mirror. Usb charging ports would also be beneficial. Very basic breakfast, with quite limited choice. Not enough help given when finding a seat. There was overflow seating upstairs but we had to find this ourselves. One of the lifts was out of order the whole stay meaning quite a delay for a lift sometimes. The room was quite a bit smaller than the pictures suggest. The noise from the trams outside can be quite loud.

Good location. Building maintenance is an issue. Motion activated bathroom light cycled on/off with almost no relation to actual motion. It would turn off while you were on the toilet or in the shower and turn on when noone was there. No switch to turn it off entirely. No water for several hours after check in due to building repairs.

An exceptional room that was above our expectations. Large variety of options at the breakfast buffet to cater for all tastes and diets. Would recommend to anyone visiting Prague.

Cheap but you get what you pay for....
We stayed there for 5 nights...the hotel is ok. The first room on the 4th floor we got was terrible. Extremely warm and stuffy they gave us a fan. The sensors in the bathroom and separate shower room were terrible. Lights went out every few minutes impossible to shower. TV wouldn't come on and hairdryer wouldn't work. On our 3rd night we were moved to another room on the 1st floor that was much better. The breakfast wasn't great either as the hot breakfast bits weren't very hot. There pastries etc were fine. Location was great as trams were very regular and easy to get into city. Overall its cheaper than other hotels but you get what you pay for. It was clean and ok....

El staff súper atento, el señor que nos atendió en el check-in hablaba Español y nos dio muchos tips. Súper fácil moverte en transporte público desde y hacia el aeropuerto y el distrito 1 de Praga. Si lo prefieres, también puedes caminar hacia ese distrito. El desayuno es bueno. Nuestra habitación siempre fue limpiada perfectamente. Estuvimos 5 días.

The staff are amazing. We especially LOVED our cleaning lady whom we dubbed the “ninja.” She did an amazing job in our room, she was in and out without missing a beat, provided a vase (without us asking for one) for my flowers and when I was sick she provided extra toiletries, again without us asking for any. The checkin counter staff gave us their personal floor heater for our 2 week stay because I was cold. It was as a great experience for my first time being out of the states. My only negative would be or maybe a suggestion more than a negative, add more fresh fruit and maybe oatmeal to the breakfast buffet. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again and recommend it whole heartedly to anyone looking for a great hotel while in Prague. Thank you Hotel Belvedere for taking such great care of us!

The receptionist was great, helpful. Breakfast was enough. The room is smaller, but sufficient for a night's sleep. There is no socket by the bed, you have to unplug the light so you can charge your pc/mobile. There was more noise from the street in the room.

Good Value
Good location with plenty of shops and restaurants close by. 10 minutes walking to the river. Up to one hour to the airport using one tram and one bus. Decent accommodation and breakfast. Pretty clean.

Horrible! A rock band party playing right above my bed in the breakfast room until 10pm. They didn’t stop tearing things down, running around, dragging chairs and tables across the floors, stomping and running up and down the stairs until midnight. When I called to ask about it they said they couldn’t exchange rooms and would only wave the city tax fee which was only 100czk. Not impressed AT ALL. How is it okay to have a huge party and full band right above a hotel room? I picked this hotel for the location, out of the crowds out of the loud noises of the city centre but when told why they would only give me a deal off the city tax the manager said that it was normal to have parties and loud noises in the city until 10pm. This is understandable but it’s one thing to have a party outside your hotel and QUITE another to have it right above your head with the stairs and doors slamming right next door. Extremely disappointed. I loved Prague until this. I wanted to sleep early as I had an 3am early departure so I only got 2 hours of sleep. Pathetic and I have no idea how they’ve gotten away with this before. If you do take a chance and book this hotel don’t book the business rooms they are right below the stage and any person here for business would not be able to sleep.
