Good location, large rooms, not so great staff
We stayed here for 8 nights, beginning Sept. 28, 2016. Good location on a nice quiet street, very close to Palladium Mall. Nice walk to Wenceslas Square and about 20 minute or so walk to Old Town. Room 323 was large, with 2 twin beds; I found the mattress to be incredibly hard....not firm, but hard. .Nice size wardrobe, with shelves, mini-safe and ample room to hang clothes. Housekeeping did a great job each day, but the carpet was badly stained. Our room looked onto a courtyard with a view of other rooms.. Large bathroom with tub/shower combo. No individual toiletries, just squeeze bottles of shampoo, soap, etc. attached to the walls. Breakfast served each morning on the main floor was very good, with a nice variety of hot and cold foods. The staff at breakfast was great; food was warm and refilled as needed IMMEDIATELY. The reason I did not rate higher is that I found the staff almost indifferent. Upon, check-in, we were not asked if we needed help with our luggage. When checking out, the girl, after checking if there was any minibar use, only said "all is good". Not thank you, how was your stay, have a good trip.....nothing. The staff was NOT rude, just did not seem to care; the exception being the staff at breakfast and housekeeping. While a hotel cannot change its location, or size of rooms, it CAN change the way the staff relates to guests.
