Great, clean hotel 15 min walk from everything
My husband and I loved this hotel for so many reasons. First, it was very clean. And I loved that the temperature setting in the room was so responsive. In many hotel rooms, you can never get warm enough or cool enough, plus you can hear a gigantic fan all the time. In this room, the fan was very quiet and didn't blow right over the bed. The bathroom was a bit cramped. The shower had only a half door so you had to be very careful showering or water sprayed everywhere. But this is just a quibble.
The best thing was the location. We were about a 15 min walk from all of the sights that people come to Prague to see: The Charles Bridge, the Prague Castle, Old Town Square, the Jewish Quarter, St. Nicholas Cathedral, etc. We were surrounded by great restaurant choices, and we were a five-minute walk to a giant mall, the Palladium. We could sightsee all day, come back to our hotel to rest, charge our phones, etc., then head out again for supper or shopping or a performance of Black Light Theatre or the symphony.
The staff was so pleasant and helpful, both at the front desk and in the restaurant.
The only thing we were disappointed in was the buffet breakfast that was included in our booking. It was good, but the offerings were the exact same every day. We stayed there six days so it got old after a few days. But as I say, the breakfast was good, and so if you're only going to be there a few days, you'll be fine.
