"Nice budget hotel extremely well located."
Hotel staff were very nice and helpful. It is a Pensione rather than a hotel. Breakfast very good for price. A clean low price hotel - not fancy but well priced. It is about 2 mins walk from main tourist attractions. Thanks for lovely stay.

"The gem in the treasure trove that is Prague"
The hotel has an optional car service to be picked up at the train station/airport. We were coming into Prague by train and thought it would be nice. We got confused and accidentally got off the train 1 stop early. We called the hotel, told them we were sorry but we would have to get the next train and would be terribly late. And they rescued us from the wrong train station! What hotel does that? They're amazing! They figured out what station we were at and sent a car and driver to find us. The hotel is also perfectly situated at the end of the Charles Bridge. It's easy to get around, and the staff are always ready to offer suggestions or recommendations for anything that you can think of. Our room was lovely and housekeeping was wonderful. The continental breakfast was delicious - hot and cold options, lots of fruit, pastries, coffees to order, etc. We ate at one of their restaurants the night we arrived - The Creperie - and thought everything was delicious. If you are looking for somewhere nearby to unwind after a long day of sightseeing there is a wine bar less than a 2 minute walk from the hotel called Vinograf. They have delicious small plates and a large selection of Czech wines both by the glass & bottle. We don't speak Czech and the owner/server went out of her way to communicate in what little English she had to make us feel welcome and enjoy the shop. We went back the next night. It's a lovely little shop, and if you enjoy experiencing new, local wines try here.

"Beautiful Apartment Close to the Old Town Square"
Our accommodation at the Arcadia Residence was a large, modern attic apartment within 3 blocks of the Old Town Square. You could see the top of the Old Town Hall tower from our bedroom window. We were within walking distance of the Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square, the Jewish Quarter, restaurants, night life, shopping, and several churches. From the Arcadia Residence, you can take a taxi or public transportation up to the Prague Castle and the Strahov Monastery. Two women delivered a large breakfast to our room daily. The onsite managers, both named "Malek", helped us with transportation arrangements, sight-seeing recommendations, restaurant reservations, and other things. The Residence works with a local company to provide transportation between the hotel, the airport, and the train station.

Hotel Hastal Prague Old Town

Hastalska 1077/16, Prague - Map
"nice hotel close to Old Town Square & transport"
Wife and I stayed here for 8 nights during the Christmas season. It was very close to Old Town Square, a tram stop, and subway station. Hotel is looks cozy inside and out, though I wouldn't consider it 4 star, it was exceptional for the price. Decent breakfast served in the morning, though it didn't change at all throughout our stay. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, especially Matthew (sorry for the spelling if that's incorrect!) who seemed to primarily work the night shift. Only real issue I had is that the rooms are fairly small, but we didn't spend a whole lot of time in it, and the shower is a bit narrow. Bed was more firm than what I was used to, but still found it comfortable... definitely didn't have trouble sleeping after walking around all day! We were on the fourth floor and didn't notice any noise. We were on the side facing the parking area in front of the hotel, and I'd imagine it could possibly get loud late at night if you're on one of the lowest floors. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this hotel to friends and would stay there again the next time I visit Prague.

Old Time Hotel

Praha 2 - Lublanska 27, Prague - Map
"Great location, staff and service non-existent"
This little hotel is in a great location, just 20 minutes walk to the centre of Prague or 5 minutes from the closest metro station. The room is cosy and comfortable. However, there is no service/staff at the hotel. I don't think I saw a worker there once in my 4 days there apart from check-in and check-out. It's more of a bed and breakfast and not a hotel. The breakfast is fairly basic and unappetizing each morning. You're better off going outside for some of the great options Prague has to offer. The room seemed generally fine and clean on the surface. Then we found a mouldy fruit under the bed which must have been there for a few weeks. In addition I don't think the room/bathroom was cleaned once during our 4 day stay. Someone would just come in when we'd popped out and make the bed - that's it.
