Awesome place if you want to get away from it all. Very peaceful. We went there for our honeymoon, and had a great time.
Some of the public areas do need a little renovation, and they had started this when we were there. And the staff's language is only ok, there were some communication issues.
But our bungalow was divine, it had its own small lap pool and was very nicely appointed. The rooms were very clean. The main pool was also kept very clean.
There were some activities like kayaking and sailing a catamaran, but mostly this place is for reading poolside, walking on the beach and sleeping in the sun.
There isn't much nearby, a monkey temple and an elephant park, and no shops either, so you will most likely be eating at the restaurant for 3 meals a day. The food was great, expensive for Thailand, but you're in a resort, and you have to expect resort prices.
Lots of Thai's go here for a weekend, so the place is not overrun by tourists.
Near tbhe bus station but away from the beach about five minutes walk. Modern and new. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast nothing special. This could be vastly and easily improved at little cost. Serving precooked Luke warm eggs is not what you would expect from this grade of hotel. Need to set up a cooking station to cook eggs, waffles and pancakes. They have the staff present to do this. Most currently standing around doing nothing.
We arrived from airport in Hua Hin and found only one taxi driver waiting. We thought there would be several. Also the drive from the airport which they say is 45mins no traffic was actually around 2hrs. But on a good note we were greeted with the most FRIENDLIEST STAFF( thank you). Now as for the rooms. We had to move from our suite to 3 different rooms due to problems with the room( we were on the 2nd floor.-202/204/206). Our 1st room had electrical problems in the jacuzzi. Our 2nd room had water dripping from ceiling light over the jacuzzi. And hmmm... Our 3rd room had a bad odor(smelled like rotten eggs). But we stayed in the last room because we were tired of moving around and it was our last night. We wish we would've stayed in our first room, it appeared to be the nicest and very clean. Also there is nothing to do at the resort but peace and quiet. But if you take the hotel shuttle into Hua Hin there is plenty to see and do. Me and my wife wish the shuttle would do more runs each day into the town. Around every 5-6 hrs make trip into town for guest. We went into town around 11:00am and the shuttle was going to pick us up at 5:30pm but due to traffic they could not make it back in time to pick up the 8:30 people. So we waited there until the 8:30 pick-up time. The driver was nice enough to take us to the Hua Hin train station. Which was very pretty at night ( lights)and do bring a camera. Also we scheduled a driver to take us back to BKK for 3500baht.
A hidden location which is perfect for a getaway..

The staffs wer friendly but non of them wer available when we went down for a drink in the small bar on the beach front..
Waitted about 1hr deciding to buy from a 7-11 a few kms away..
But overall good..but not really perfect!!
