"VMH has been a place where my family has vacationed since 2010 and this time around we found the accommodations to be subpar. If you’re looking for a room at the beach , this is a good one , but after having issues with the reservation and getting two random rooms, not what we called and agreed with on the phone with a representative, twice, we ended up leaving and staying somewhere else. In addition during the week the security is weak and a group of people in the villa above where partying till 4 am with no security answering phone or doing rounds to keep the noise down. It was a terrible first night and the party folks became aggressive and started insulting me when I asked them to keep it down. Sadly a poor experience here. I recommend that you book by calling the Parador. They do not know what to do with these reservations online. They mix everything up. Better call them. "

"We had a fantastic stay in this sweet beach villa! Elaine was welcoming and it was nice having her on the property. When we had an issue with our rental car she called Triple-S on our behalf. I would consider this going above and beyond! The studio was quaint and as pictured. AC and fan worked great. Our favorite part was the private jungle path that led us to a gorgeous stretch of beach minutes away. We highly recommend staying here!"

"I am not sure where to begin. Elaine, is an incredible attentive host. Not only are the attention to details obvious, it's that she truly cares about her guests. She called me the day of my arrival to make everything was going okay. My flight had been cancelled due to the storm and wanted to make sure everything was okay. Due to the two day change in my arrival, she was also very flexible in supporting some changes. Her response time for questions was excellent from beginning to end.Now the location! To say this place is special is an understatement. The decor is elegantly simple and reflects the spirit of the property. One of the things that drew me to the location was that it is a nature preserve and she is working hard to make sure there is a balance of comfort in the villas but also an awareness of how we all impact our environment. (so sorry for the styrofoam cooler puchase...such an ice girl) The villas are beautiful and comfortable as well as welcoming. So nice to be in a space where you don't have to worry about loud evenings.I'm an introvert so crowds can be a challenge for me, This location was a perfect combination for me so I could be secluded or choose to walk to Jobo's to swim, eat and drink. I did choose to drive a few times but it's such a simple and beautiful walk I did that most of the time. I can't wait to visit you again, Elaine.
