Kindly note that this is a personal home, so please take good care of it as if it were your own. São Miguel, the largest island in the Azores archipelago, is a haven of lush landscapes, volcanic lakes, and coastal charm. Often called “The Green Island,” it offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural richness. From the stunning crater lakes of Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo to the geothermal wonders of Furnas, São Miguel is made for nature lovers and explorers. The island is dotted with charming towns like Ponta Delgada, where historic streets meet modern cafés, markets, and a vibrant marina. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the scenic hiking trails, black sand beaches, hot springs, and whale-watching opportunities. With its peaceful villages, friendly locals, and breathtaking views around every corner, São Miguel is a tranquil and unforgettable escape. The property is easily accessible by car. Ponta Delgada airport is a 47-minute drive from the property. Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal. We provide the basic amenities for the first use: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Please let us know if you need cleaning or extra linen; we will gladly provide an additional charge. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at a minimum. Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€. Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay). Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
