Wonderful hotel converted from villa...unique layout, great views of town, harbor, beach. Pool and patio lovely. Pool not heated...heating would have been nice given cool weather. Patios from room with great views. Breakfast typically outstanding. Yes, it is up on the hill but so is everything in Positano...able to get there both on road and by stairs. Front desk staff friendly and accommodating.
Wonderful service from Carmella at the front desk made us feel like her personal guests. The hotel has lovely eating venues and a wonderful breakfast You will appreciate the local bus stop right outside the door as walking back up from town and the beach is daunting. One comment for the standard double room - the elevator stops one floor below and you walk up the last flight to your room in the eaves. Ceilings are low and the room is small, but you may not mind when you step out on your private balcony and are dazzled by the view.
Great hotel! Rooftop dining area was amazing, had an awesome view. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Service was amazing. Rooms had ocean view and very spacious, very well kept. Our shower had jet spray, had hair dryer and jacuzzi tub. I would go back to this hotel!
Location was amazing if you want to walk the town or go to beach! Staff and views from pool were incredible! Request a room on a higher floor for more privacy. We upgraded to a larger room on top floor and best money I've ever spent!
Great location with great view and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Next door to Le Sirenuse which is a 5-star hotel so you get the same beautiful views. The hotel also serves very good breakfast included with the room. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Staff very attentive. Also concierge will make all of your reservations for everything, I.e. Restaurants, activities, car service, airport pickup and return. Family suite that sleeps five comfortably although back room of suite has no view and bathroom smaller although the bathroom in the main bedroom is large as is the room. There is no pool or spa, and the restaurant is outside. There are heaters so it's warm enough and the food was very good. It is walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach although the walk back is difficult since its steep. Otherwise overall I felt it was a very good value as I didn't mind the walk.
This is the most beautiful Butique hotel we have ever stayed in. Key highlights:
Rooms - the hotel used to be a private residence and the rooms have been carefuly decorated to provide traditional Italian elegance and comfort. Our bed and choice of pillow ensured this. The view from our balcony was stunning, words can not describe and the pictures do not do it justice so you will have to go. We were lucky that it was just the right temperature to enable us to leave the door open and fall asleep to the sound of the waves.
Staff - We could not fault the staff they work exceptionally hard to make your stay perfect. With class and style they are all the perfect combination of helpful, friendly and discrete.
Food - Amazing! The tasting menu on our first night will remain a cullinary experience I will never forget. The hotel expensive, but worth every penny. On holiday we love to enjoy a long leaisurly breakfast and this did not disappoint the buffet selection was small but perfectly formed with everything you could wish for from ham and cheeses to smoke salmon and your choice of eggs freshly prepared for you, plus much more. To be enjoyed with another stunning view.
Location - The hotel sits at the top of Positano meaning you get the most wonderful views from all parts of the hotel. The rooftop pool and bar was perfect for enjoying a spot of sunbathing and lunch. There are many, many steps down to the toan but the hotel provides a regular and reliable shuttle service.
We really enjoyed our stay- Positano is amazing! I can only recommend this hotel if you get a room with a sea view. I was unclear of this when I originally booked the room and we were on the first floor and I barely slept even with earplugs! It is right on the street and the noise is very loud. The next day we were moved to a wonderful 2nd floor room with a huge terrace that overlooks the sea- so beautiful! The room was very nice with high ceilings, king bed, nice bath, oh and that fabulous view! We enjoyed the terrace very much and it was a totally different stay. Make sure you get a sea view and you will be happy! Breakfast on the rooftop was very nice and the location is perfect - close to shops and restaurants and a nice walk down to the beach. Staff was very nice and helpful.
staff was very helpful and friendly, the location is great (not far up the mountain side, near shopping and restaurants, decent view), clean, great colors! (the tiling, the facade,...), good breakfast included in price, ...

The level of service was out of sight! It was as if we were the only guests at the hotel. Everything about Le Sirenuse was 5 star. Especially loved the fact that the beach was accessible through a stairway that takes about 3 mins to go down. Will recommend to everyone I know and come back as often as possible!

A desirably picturesque tourist haunt, Moorish-style houses cling to Positano’s steep hillsides. It’s a pleasant walk down to the small grey beach and fishing harbour via narrow, flower-decked alleyways and steps, but the return journey takes some effort (luckily there’s a bus). A domed church is Positano’s main landmark. The town celebrates the Feast of the Assumption on 15th August by re-enacting a famous victory against the Saracens.
