"The room was perfect you functional but the bathroom was petite. The room was very stuffy with no air-conditioning, a bearly openable window. A fan would have helped enormously."

"Cheap and cheerful lovely friendly helpful staff clean room. parking was a big issue for me as had to pay £5 and them find a street that would let me park on which was a bit away from the hotel itself"

"A short overnight stay. Welcome was as expected. Car park was full so we had to pay to park on the road which was annoying. Room was clean and well equipped. Shower did not drain properly so you had to wash quickly! Some aspects of the repairs/maintenance were tired and not what you would expect from a 4* stay - but perhaps standards are lower these days?!"

"Spacious room with clean linen. Overall a bit tired but good atmosphere. Did a decent packed breakfast as we left for an early ferry. Excellent location for the quayside Wharf and historic dockyard. I would stay there again. Free on site parking a definite bonus."
