Ship Leopard Hotel – No Children

"We had a small double at the back overlooking the car park, so no view. The decor was a bit Spartan in black and white and no pictures or anything. Mattress quite hard. It was clean and the staff helpful and friendly. The shower mastic needs replacing as it is mouldy and has come away from the wall along the shower tray. There were no hooks or a towel rail for towels which were changed unnecessarily. All equipment worked. Breakfast was ample and well cooked to order. It was really useful to have a safe place to park the car and the location was great for hopping over to the island and walking along the coast. The most tensely populated city in the UK is a bit of a maze to drive through and the directions given weren’t accurate if following google maps, but we worked it out. It was much easier to get out of the city than going in. The tourist things and eating out were expensive- the Spinnaker especially and you need to book in advance to be sure of getting a table or experience. The area feels a bit run down in general. But it was nice to go back and revisit an old haunt."

"A Lovely Stay in the Heart of Town ❤️ From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Every receptionist spoke really good English, which made everything so easy, and they always greeted us with a lovely smile. 😊 The hotel is in the heart of the town, which is very convenient for exploring and getting around. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was very comfortable, so we had a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was okay and had enough choices to start the day. Overall, we had a lovely stay and really appreciated the warm and friendly service from all the reception staff. I would happily stay here again. 😊"

"Nice hotel. Nice room. Games room a great bonus. The owners couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful. Great location. Only small issue the plates and cups in the room were unwashed. But we soon sorted that as washing up liquid was supplied."
