Summary: Hereford House is a newly renovated and beautifully appointed grand house which has been converted to 4 apartments, situated in the heart of Southsea. With 3 generous bedrooms and a plenty of space, this apartment can comfortably accommodate 7 guests. With free on street parking, super fast wifi and lots of extra comforts, Hereford House is a great place to stay whether you are visiting for work or pleasure. The Space: Situated in Southsea, Hereford House is a beautifully refurbished grand house, split into 4 apartments. This property is a spacious 3 bedroom apartment. Close to the seafront, Southsea shopping and nightlife, we believe the accommodation is unique in its scale and comfort. At Hereford House we offer check in from 3pm and no earlier unless otherwise agreed and check out no later than 11am. This fantastic property offers a large king size bedroom with en-suite, a large double bedroom and a triple (3 singles) bedroom. There is an open plan living area with two large sofas and an open plan kitchen space. Providing all the comforts of a modern hotel, with free super fast wifi, flat screen smart TV, high quality beds and furnishings and hotel quality linen, we also provide all the facilities needed to cook at home. A well equipped kitchen includes an oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine, plus all the crockery, pots and pans etc needed for the majority of dishes. There is also a dishwasher to save you having to wash it all up afterwards. Situated in a traditional, Southsea street populated mostly with Victorian townhouses and just off Victoria Road South, the property’s location is excellent. Parking is free on the street although it does get busy in the evenings, particularly at weekends. However, it's just a 15 minute walk to Southsea beach and the South Parade Pier, as well as Canoe Lake which is a great area if you have kids with you. It’s only a 2 minute walk to the bustling Albert Road with its vast selection of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, an eclectic mix of boutique shops, the beautiful Kings Theatre and The Wedgewood Rooms (live music venue). Just a 10 minute drive or taxi ride gets you to the Historic Dockyard where you can see the Mary Rose, HMS Victory and HMS Warrior plus a host of other exhibitions and to Gunwharf Quays for outlet shopping, plus more restaurants, bars and a cinema. Also in close proximity, is the Pyramids Centre Swimming Pool and Gym, Southsea Castle, D-Day Museum, Royal Marines Museum, Natural History Museum, Blue Reef Aquarium, Clarence Pier (amusement park), Southsea Common and the Skate Park. Perfect for beach, pier, exhibitions and aquarium and Portsmouth naval attractions too
We rented this flat for three nights for sightseeing during half term holiday. The flat is very spacious, well equipped, clean and modern, as well as bright and airy. The neighbourhood is quiet and tranquil but close to shops and restaurants. The walk to the seafront was a 10 minute stroll. Proved a bit far for the young children (4) in the rain. Great place!!
