The location is a few miles past Portree down a very small road - we almost thought we were lost, but our GPS was accurate. Because of the ferry schedule, we were going to be late to check in, but we let the host know ahead of time, and she had our keys available inside the house. Our room (#1) was ok, the bed wasn't very comfortable (too soft), but at least we had our own bathroom (our friends had to share a bathroom with strangers staying in another room). The dining room carpet was filthy and stained, and the small drink fridge could use a good cleaning.

    Very Disappointing

stayed here with a group while on a road trip around Scotland. This was by far the worst stay. In my case the towels smelled like mildew and bathroom smelled of mold. I had to hold my breath to use the bathroom as the smell made me gag There appeared to be mold on the bedroom ceiling. The guest refrigerator was dirty, none of us would use it. The carpet in the dining room was filthy. I would not recommend this place and definitely not worth the price. On the bright side, the bed was comfortable and the lady who served breakfast was quite nice and helpful. Be mindful this place is way off the beaten path, miles down a narrow road, not easy to locate in the dark, quite far from town.

Disappointed in Isle of Skye B & B

The B &B was over priced for what one receives. The double bed room was very small. Electrical socket did not work, owner knew about. The light needed a bulb replace which the owner had none to replace. No USB for charging phones etc. However the owner was an enthusiastic person with great greating.
