Paradise
This is a beautiful resort in a beautiful place. Every detail was looked after. Loved the singing and piano at night. It may cost a lot but if you can afford it well worth the money.

THE place to stay in Portofino
The Belmond Portofino is a luxurious hotel set atop the mountainside with a great view of the harbor. The hotel is well appointed and luxurious, the rooms a bit smaller than would be expected but the location and service can not be beat!

Splendid!
This hotel is truly amazing and the staff were great. The location is perfect. We were greeted at the main square in portofino and then a shuttle took us to our hotel and to our surprise we were given an upgraded beautiful room with a balcony served with nice fruit plate and chocolate. The live piano at night is also great.

Splendid hotel. Very tiny room. Bothered by loud talking in next room and from car park outside our room. Staff don't speak English well, but numerous guests are from USA and UK. Everyone should stay at Hotel Splendido once; once is enough!

Iconic hotel with picturesque views
We stayed 2 nights. Excellent location and a short walk to the main piazza in Portofino. The hotel was easy to find, check in and reception was friendly, professional and fast. Our room was upgraded to a beautiful sea view. The room was a little small but everything was impeccable. Breakfast, dinner was delicious The evening entertainment was great fun. We’d definitely stay again.

Stunning views and great service
This lovely hotel is set up in the hillside overlooking Portifino harbour. Numerous sitting rooms, locations for eating, and great spa facilities, but for us having breakfast on the terrace of your own room, looking down over the gulf was the best part. If you prefer the buzz of activity and nightlife, they also operate the Splendido Mare hotel on the centre of the Portofino village. For us, the views from the main hotel were the place to be though, as they run a shuttle bus down into the village every 20 minutes whenever we wanted the nightlife. It's well worth a walk around the area though.

Best hotel in Portofino
Just like d name its splendido! We truly enjoyed our stay. We booked last min but got upgraded from a garden view to sea view room. The view was breathtaking n probably d best view of portofino. There were drinks n fruits to welcome us and the room is spacious n well decorated with all the luxuries one would need. Breakfast was delicious and we were spoilt for choice. Would recommend the egg Benedict as it was beautifully cooked.

Simply wonderful hotel
We travel the world and have never stayed in a better hotel than the Splendido Portofino. The ambiance is amazing,the staff manage to do everything you want,but not with Servitude but wonderful smiling friendliness. The intimacy of the bar at night,the music and dancing for those who wanted To stay up was just great. The pool area and all the garden flowers make you feel so so happy And so lucky to be there. For us it was our type of hotel a dream

Special- expensive- but sort after.
Absolutely fabulous location, view fantastic , Staff top class, but comparing it with top Hotels we had stayed getting to there we felt the rooms were a little tired especially for the price paid. Lets face it, it is a special place and they do do it well, but so do others in bigger rooms and better in room facilities like Coffee and tea facilities in the room. Looking at it from a practical point of view one can't change the room size so what they have is what you get, and it is very, very good, from an ambience point of view. Value for money you could argue, but its a case of Demand over supply, so pay up or don't go- it is Special.
