The hotel is nice. The rooms are actually very nice. Front desk is helpful, though there are a few oddities, like requiring the guest to provide his email confirming the reservation, regardless of the fact they have your info and you have your ID. Helping with a lot of luggage —they did— seemed to be the exception, not an obvious thing to the staff. Food: great breakfast, so and so lunch and dinner. The special dinner restaurant in the twin hotel next door was actually not great at all. The room was great and the general conditions of the hotel were good. What seemed lacking was that often you would go to a public bathroom and there would be no soap, and it's weird that in a 5-star hotel housekeeping seemed intent in leaving one toilet paper roll per day for two adults, a toddler and a baby. So, improve checks for soap everywhere, and tell your housekeeping they should actually provide necessary items, and things will be great. So easy!

Overall excellent hotel for a short break - especially the room we had was very spacious and modern. Only improvements would be: - the sunbeds on the beach: there are not enough of them and they are expensive - all a-la-carte restaurants have an extra charge: at least some of them should be free, just like in other all-inclusive properties we have stayed at

Re directed flight into Porto Santo from Funchal due to high winds, staff couldnt have been more helpful, superior hotel room fantastic, beach wonderful, hotel facilities very good, however all inclusive food not great...

This hotel claims to be a 5 star, all inclusive resort. At the end of our stay, I got to sit down the regional manager and ask the manager 2 questions: 1) What do you think "5 star" means? 2) What do you think "all inclusive" means?

Apesar de ter um design e um jardim lindíssimo, o nosso quarto não estava dignamente higienizado, o cheiro a tecidos sem manutenção, a madeiras não higienizadas e a materiais não arejados era demasiado notório. Os colchões apresentavam as molas salientes e perderam a robustez. Tenho pena, pois, tinha tudo para ser agradável, mas ter de dormir sempre em cima do edredon e no limite da cama por ser a zona menos marcada, não foi agradável. Fiz uso de desinfectantes e velas de cheiro, mas ainda assim, foram 4 noites desconfortáveis. Os funcionários do restaurante, eram enternecedores. Eram exímios na rapidez e na gentileza, mesmo na azáfama, no cansaço e após a quantidade de horas que tinham de trabalho.

Horrendous hotel, very bad service. Not 5 star
This is not a 5 star hotel. Not in service, atmosphere or in any way. The hotel is crowded with noisy children and shouting parents. It is impossible to use the pools. Guests have to wait in line for ALL MEALS. Service is horrendous. Guests have to pay for beach chairs. There are no amenities in the rooms except for shampoo and showergel. If you complain the hotel manager leaves you the leftovers from breakfast at your room! We do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Restauration catastrophique
Très mauvaises impressions: Les repas se composent en majorité de congelés, de boites de conserve et de nourriture pour enfants (croquettes, poissons panés congelés, pâtes avec sauces en boîte, hamburgers et sandwich). La pâtisserie est infecte ( "gâteau" en Jelly..) au point de finir le repas par une banane. La plage est aménagée avec 30 mini-paillotes payantes ! . L'hôtel est très bruyant et non insonorisé (impossible de dormir avant 1h.du matin). Le service des chambre est incomplet tant au niveau du remplacement des serviettes et papier toilette que du lavage des sols. Le service au bar est désagréable et avec des queues pour se faire servir. Il s'agit en fait d'un hôtel 2*pour les repas ou 3* pour le reste (normes françaises)
