Safe at night too , it’s have private rooms but it’s not private bathroom which means you pay $70’a night and bathroom outside no heating there in winter time It’s not the busiest time the stuff and friends takes the community room to their own gathering you can’t watching TV one towel for all stay no Dinner like the post said In area we saw cheaper and better quality look into it before you perched

First time at a hostel
This was my first time staying in a hostel and I don’t think I’ll do it again SOLO. The place was actually not bad and the receptionists were all friendly. But the restroom were coed and imagine my surprise that there was a guy showering next stall to mine. I stayed in a solo room so I didn’t have to share it with anyone. It was okay. Location wise, nice way hotel was great! I wish I’m the type of person who loves hostel but I don’t. Maybe it would be a different story if I traveled with some friends and they can stay with me while I shower.

The 4 bed dorm was a small narrow room though it was well cleaned and organized. The welcome drink on day 1 and privacy curtains in the room were appreciated. The wine was affordable and the staff can recommend some local tours. I went on the free walking tour they promote and enjoyed it. I was able to store my luggage there and use the facilities for the day after I checked out. I appreciated being able to shower before my evening flight. The common areas have lots of seating and charging outlets available. I bought the breakfast one morning and enjoyed it - simple, but worth 3.5euros. I thought charging 3euro for a towel rental was pricey.

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and the staff was great. Some guests did not follow the rule of staying quiet after 10 pm and it was difficult to sleep because they were very noisy. Overall, very good place to stay.

Nice Way was recommended to me by colleagues and family who traveled to Porto. It exceeded our expectations in both atmosphere and services. Every staff person took personal time to not only answer questions but to also connect. The living room area is relaxing and food is always around.

Best hostel I've ever stayed at. It's smack dab in the middle of downtown and really close to the Sao Bento station. That said, the elevator stopped working on our second night, so that was less pleasant, but being so close to everything was great.

Nice hostel
Nice hostel overall! The staff was all super friendly and made it easy to get involved in the city. The room was a bit noisy at night between construction outside and guests in other rooms being loud. They advertised having air conditioning but it was not on when i visited. Nice bed and facilities though.

The staff is the best part, they're really helpful and lively. The beds and dormitories were good and the bathrooms clean. The area is walkable and close to a lot of restaurants and bakeries but it's definitely not quiet. I've been there while the new metro line was being built, the construction went the whole night and during weekends the bars and restaurants attract enough people to keep some noise all night. Nothing unbearable but if you're a noise sensitive person, some earplugs will help.

Friendly place steps from Sao Bento
Great place to stay in Porto - walking distance from train station and many historical sites. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, and the whole place was clean and felt safe. Would definitely stay here again!

Such an amazing hostel right in the centre of Porto. Clean, beautiful, convenient, comfortable and with professional and very kind staffs. Never hesitate to stay at this beautiful hostel. It is a wonderful hostel experience by itself.

The Brazilian guy at the reception gave us the most useful information about what to visit, where to go, what to eat and where to eat. He took the time to make sure no detail was left out. Many thanks for making our short stay in Porto so meaningful.

The staffs are super helpful and friendly there . And the location is excellent , you can go to everywhere within 5-10 mins . if you stop by Porto . This is absolutely your choice . I will come back next time .

AMAZING service!
The staff is an AMAZING bartender! My friend had the best shot for his birthday, and the staff recommended his own b-day restaurant for us to enjoy the night. When we left before the breakfast time, the staff even made coffee for us. What's more, can you believe they offer free Porto wine happy hour and CHEESE? We stayed in a private 4-people room, super clean. The location is great, and the hostel has many activities to choose. However, my friends heard sound from bell towers at night, but it wasn't a problem to me.

The girl who greeted me at the front desk was doing her job her approach wasn’t as friendly as I imagined it would be for somebody working at a hostel. Nonetheless, she was efficient, so overall it was okay. Clean room and small breakfast included I’ve stayed at friendlier and more welcoming hostels before - this was more like a hotel.

Don’t expect a shuttle
The place and people were great, but I reserved a shuttle to the airport for 5:30am. At 5:50am the shuttle hadn’t shown up and we had to flag down a cab.

Best location ever, right next to Praca da Liberdade and close to tourist attractions such as Dom Luis bridge and Torre dos Clerigos. The staff are so lovely and the facilities are all modern and very clean! Loved the bedroom and such a comfy mattress!

Great time in Porto
Excellent location for exploring the city by foot or transit. They are in the process of installing AC through their rooms. Big giant windows that can open fully for great ventilation if too hot. We had bad luck and were sharing the floor with very loud guests, older building with no sound insulation, ear plugs are a must. Breakfast is basic, but good. Good bread choices, meat, cheese, butter, cereal, milk, juices coffee. Highly suggest the walking and port wine tours offered.

As soon as it happened, we got in touch with the maintenance company and it was resolved as soon as possible. We do know how unpleasant this was for our guests and we took measures to guarantee this doesn't happen again - we replaced the elevator's motor. According to the air conditioning, even though we do not mention having air conditioning anywhere, we made a big investment in order to install it and we hope to have it ready on August 16th. nice hotel
Great area/location, helpful staff, safe area, people were great. I tried sleeping at night time and it was hard since people were loud especially at 3am. If you want quality sleep, I would find a hotel. Other than noise issue, this hostel was fantastic.

Nice hostel in central Porto. Staff at the reception were nice and helpful. We stayed in the double room with shared bathroom. Bathroom was cleaned frequently and was spotless. The breakfast is average but overall everything was positive.

EXCELLENT staff and I mean it !!! They were so helpful and offered great assistance. Breakfast was superb. Had one bad experience with a thoughtless person who came in at 11:30 pm and put the lights on and made lots of noise. Might be good to have some signs in the rooms. A lovely place.

Go to Porto!
Positioned right in the heart of Porto within a minutes walk to Sao Bento station, surrounded by restaurants and within easy walking distance to all local attractions the hostel could hardly be better positioned. Friendly welcoming staff and a general positive atmosphere is what you will find here. Spacious bedrooms and although not ensuite, ample bathroom facilities. A large bar/chill out area with other activities at different times including city walks etc.
