The structure is an example of the typical rural architectural tradition of Salento, with large rooms covered by star vaults, tuff walls and white lime plaster. The villa offers 2500 square meters of private park, embellished with dry stone walls and typical Mediterranean vegetation. The Villa offers two large independent apartments with sea view: Turquoise and Amaranth (Homelidays advert p8135976) The Turchese apartment (110sqm), located on the upper floor, offers two large double bedrooms, living area with double sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen for 6 guests, two full bathrooms with shower. All the rooms are paved with splendid hand-painted Vietri ceramics. Turchese enjoys exclusive access to the panoramic terrace of the villa, equipped with a kitchenette with weber grill supplied and induction hobs, porch with table and chairs, solarium sofa and outdoor shower. The Turchese terrace opens entirely on the bay of Porto Cesareo dominating it with the view with a constant relationship between the nature of the Mediterranean scrub of the natural park and the sea; you can enjoy a magnificent unspoiled view from Gallipoli to Campomarino, in complete relaxation, dining freely while waiting for the spectacle of the sunset over the sea. The apartment also has a large outdoor area facing the sea, for exclusive use within the park, equipped with a sofa and relaxation corner as well as a corner with sink and hand shower from which you can access the pedestrian path of the natural park for access to the beaches. The Amaranto apartment located on the ground floor (120sqm), offers three large double bedrooms, large living area with double sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen for 8 guests, two full bathrooms with shower embellished with Moroccan tadelakt finish. The ground floor apartment also has a large outdoor porch facing the sea, for exclusive use within the park, equipped with a large table and chairs where you can eat in company or spend relaxing moments. There is also an outdoor shower and a laundry corner with sink and clothesline; A Weber barbecue is also available for our guests. Each apartment is equipped with mosquito nets, alarm system, hairdryer, oven, washing machine, large fridge and air conditioning system. For our guests there are also umbrellas and two deck chairs for each apartment, to be used during the day on the beach. Antica villa del Conte has a wifi line at guests' disposal and private internal and independent parking for each guest. The sea is only 200 meters from the apartments and can be reached through a path through the Mediterranean scrub in a few minutes. The nearest beach (at 300m) is free and uncrowded even during peak periods. For those who need a beach, the nearby Torre Lapillo is less than 1km from the property and offers different bathing solutions according to different needs. The suggestive location Antica Villa del Conte is unique along the entire coast of Upper Salento. Immersed in the Palude del Conte park, surrounded by the Mediterranean scrub and only 200m from the sea, it is the ideal place for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. The nearby Torre Lapillo offers numerous services that can also be reached on foot or by bike in less than 10 minutes through the landscaped promenade path that runs through the entire Palude del Conte park. What shell I say...? The Antica Villa del Conte is really exceptional (from the photos you only get a glimpse from its beauty...) Benito and his family were a very friendly and helpful host and we immediately felt "at home". The Villa was very clean and very spacious and everything was of high quality (kitchen equipment, dishes, towels, shower...) not to mention the well thought out concept of the interior decoration ... On hot days, we went to the beach. There is a small one just 200 meters away from the house (we preferred the sandy beach a couple of minutes drive away, in Torre Castiglione). During lunch-time we took a long siesta, since it was too hot for sun-bathing, and I loved lying in the cool room, reading a book and looking at the vaulted ceiling ... In the evenings we would either sit on the great roof-terrace, enjoy the breathtaking view of the sea and have dinner or walk through the macchia along the beach to the next village and get an ice-cream an aperitivo and something to eat (good food everywhere!) The sea is beautiful with cristal clear water and sandy beaches either North or South. The region in itself has its own very charme, with many idyllic places in the countryside... but you need a car and have to know where to go... The people were without exception extremely friendly and open towards us and very helpful. I can fully recommend this place and will come back some day, hopefully soon! ##### Isabella R. Siamo rientrati da pochi giorni dopo un soggiorno di due settimane e ne sentiamo già la mancanza! L'antica Villa del Conte è una struttura unica, curata in ogni dettaglio di gran classe ma allo stesso tempo comoda e pratica; la nuova terrazza ci ha permesso di godere meravigliose serate in tranquillità, ma anche pranzi arieggiati sotto il pergolato di bambù. I ns due bambini (7 e 3 anni) si sono molto divertiti giocando nel giardino spazioso. A pochi minuti a piedi c'è una bella e tranquilla caletta in sabbia, ma appena entrati iniziano scogli e sassi (consigliate scarpette da scoglio), da usufruire nei periodi di grande calca sulle altre bellissime spiagge della zona. Sempre nelle vicinanze c'è un panificio (pane, cornetti, focacce, pizzette,...) e un piccolissimo caseificio (da non perdere la ricotta, mozzarella, buratta, ...). Da ogni stanza si può godere della vista del mare, e che mare; acque cristalline e spiagge con sabbia bianca, che non hanno nulla da invidiare a quelle dei Caraibi. Pulizia ottima. Da segnalare anche la gentilissima accoglienza che ci hanno riservato i proprietari, all’arrivo, infatti ci hanno fatto trovare un cestino di benvenuto con frutta fresca e il necessario per la prima colazione. Il giardino è molto spazioso e attrezzato per poter cenare all’aperto immersi nel verde e sotto un cielo stellato. Per quanto riguarda la posizione, la spiaggia è raggiungibile in 5 minuti a piedi (grande comodità non dover prendere la macchina e parcheggiare!) L'appartamento è organizzato in tutto e per tutto, l'accoglienza da parte dei proprietari è stata esemplare, il posto magnifico! Il mare è facilmente raggiungibile in pochi minuti e il giardino spaziosissimo. La sera ci si può facilmente spostare e torre lapillo o porto cesareo, due centri sempre pieni di attività e di luci e profumi estivi! Siamo stati a luglio per 2 settimane nell'appartamento al piano terra, stupendo! Ampi spazi, un bellissimo giardino dove abbiamo sempre pranzato e cenato. La vista del mare è favolosa.. I proprietari sono davvero gentilissimi e sempre disponibili. E' un'ottima base per scoprire le bellissime spiagge vicine e quando non si ha voglia di allontanarsi c'è una spiaggia poco frequentata proprio di fronte all'ingresso della casa. Torneremo sicuramente presto per rivedere questo mare maldiviano!! ##### clara t. La struttura è in una posizione ottima, di fronte al mare che si raggiunge in pochi minuti, e a pochi chilometri dal paese dove si possono trovare tutti i servizi. Il mare è strepitoso!! Sempre calmo e spiaggia di sabbia. L’appartamento è fornito di tutto, spazioso, con pavimenti dipinti bellissimi, e una vista spettacolare dal soggiorno e da una camera da letto. Possibilità di parcheggiare nell’immenso giardino! I proprietari sono di una gentilezza e disponibilità rara, pronti a fornire indicazioni, consigli o servizio di navetta per l’aeroporto.
