A 1930's villa serves as the reception and dining area with rooms etc in a new building at the rear.The villa is sensitively adopted to its new purpose.The staff are welcoming and helpful.Breakfast is good but other dining is disappointing.The location is excellent.

Delivers way less than it promised.
The hotel sets itself as being an upmarket hotel experience. Trying to marry old school roots with modern service and it misses on both accounts. What is kept as old school, especially the dining area / restaurant just ends up being really creaky seating, wobbly tables, rickety self serving areas for a buffet. The bedrooms are really small. Not very well decorated and the mini-bar is expensive and poorly stocked. Bathrooms shower is good. Heats up quickly and powerful. The rest of the bathroom is cheaply outfitted. The staff were minimal and minimum effort. I won’t stat here again

Very good hotel in Porto Alegre. I have been constantly staying at this hotel on my travels to Porto Alegre. Good room and great breakfast. The location is very good and the conditions of the hotel as well.

Wonderful stay!
This hotel is very nice, located in a beautiful area, in front of a park. Lots of nice restaurants walking distance plus cute stores. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly considering my level of Portuguese; they answered all my requests and the price is unbeatable for the high quality! Will be back soon and already recommended to friends and family.

Awesome (free) breakfast!
The hotel is good, the breakfast is amazing! Renata was really nice to us, every morning she was bringing a special (gluten-free) brad to my mom. We felt special there in a hard time. It is very close to Moinhos de Vento which has different restaurants, parks, and malls.

Excellent hotel in a nice area of the city. Close to Moinhos park, and lots of restaurants. The room is small, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is delicious, but if you are worried about covid I would go at 6am when the breakfast opens, otherwise you will be at risk since the tables are pretty close to each other and most people don't use the provided plastic gloves when serving at the buffet. My only complaint about the room is the toilet dispenser that is horrible.

Expecting more. Check in was easy, staff friendly. Bed sheets And pillows not good, makes the whole experience worse. A lot of noise coming from top floor as well, up until 1am. The rest was fine.

Gorgeous hotel at convenient location. Will Return
My first impression of this hotel was that this is a boutique hotel, and after check-in I found it not only boutique but modern at the same time. Room was clean and comfortable. Although with a smaller building at front, the hotel is actually much bigger than thought. Rooftop swimming pool was cool as well as the beautiful breakfast hall. I wish to return next time.

Property was alright. Pool was the only highlight about it. Gym was a joke (2 old treadmills, a bike and some free weights). There is a sweage plant in front of the hotel (I believe it is deactivated); but its exposed water gets a lot of mosquitoes. My room had mosquitoes on a daily basis.

Affordable and pleasant hotel
Great hotel, not the best English speaking staff but didn’t have a problem, nice but small pool, really good rooftop bar, simple and clean room, the suits looked very good, spacious and relative to the photos online

Great location
Rooms are small but the bed was comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is probably the location. It was super convenient and close to lots of restaurants and cafes. The rooftop pool was great. Would consider staying here again.

Overall a good experience
Overall a good experience at this nice boutique hotel and we enjoyed our stay. There were some occasions where we had communication difficulties with staff as we don't speak Portuguese. Good room service, but there were limited vegetarian options. The beer in the minibar wasn't too pricey which was a nice surprise! We found that the WiFi sometimes disconnected completely and on one occasion took over 30 mins to reconnect. We would probably stay here again if in town.

Pretty hotel but tiny rooms
We stayed at half a dozen hotels in Porto Alegre. This one has the prettiest lobby and common areas by a long shot. The service is expedient and friendly. The rooftop bar is very lively, especially on weekend nights. And finally the location is excellent: in a quiet street but a short walk from where the action is. But the rooms are tiny tiny and not laid out in the best way. The air conditionner blows directly on the bed forcing to use thick comforters in the middle of the summer!

Great hotel however slightly old
Fine hotel and great staff, fine breakfast and wifi speed. Pretty old comforters and pilles, in general feels like a pretty old hotel, despite they try to keep it very clean both the pillows and duvet seemed almost dusty .. the gym is terrible btw, with super old equipment and limited space

Elegant boutique hotel in old restored building
The hotel is very well presented with the rooms in a modern extension behind the traditional old house. The old part of the hotel has been elegantly restored with some lovely wooden floors. The staff were extremely helpful throughout and on our last day when we had a very late bus to take they looked after us and made the hotel facilities fully available well after we checked out. Latin America has a number of elegant boutique hotels in old colonial type buildings and this has to be up there with the best.

Absolutely nice hotel in the most quite residential area of Porto Alegre away from noise and crowd. It has nice parks nearby and a lot of green areas to walk around. Unfortunately, they do not provide airport shuttle. But it is better to take Uber as its more affordable.
