The hotel restaurant serves a good breakfast, and Bissel Bros Brewpub has a great menu a short walk/drive away. Quiet, easy, and peaceful. Would stay there again!"

"Fantastic (the best for comparable hotels) location. The room can feel dated compared to something like AC hotel, which is on the water but not central. Service is great, the Windows have interesting visitas. Bathrooms are dated and rooms are tighter than comparable."

"I go to Portland for 2 nights every April school vacation with my grandkids. We have stayed at different hotels and the Residence Inn is the best. The pool is the nicest for the kids. The room has a kitchen so we can cook in a bit. The breakfast is great. The staff was friendly. It is clean. It is in walking distance to restaurants and the water front. The only thing that was amiss slightly (probably due to staff shortages found in most every business these days) was that we requested bedding for the pull out sofa and it never was delivered. I went down before bed time to the desk and got it myself. They said they would send up pillows. The pillows never came. We were fine...my only criticism. "
