First time at Extended Stay

Posted 03-May-2017
Pros: Large rooms.
Cons: Hire some staff!!
Ended up here because other choices were booked. First stay at Extended Stay, and we were not very happy. Staff was pleasant, but really overworked. As near as I could tell, there was only one desk person on duty at a time. She ran everything, delivered pillows, etc. Can you believe that a hotel of this size has only ONE luggage cart! Room was large, but cheaply furnished. No coffee service, nothing, just two plastic glasses!

Nice hotel in VERY quiet location

Posted 07-Apr-2017
Pros: Location, quietness, amenities like internet, breakfast, cooking stove though we did not use it
Cons: There is a cooking smell in these rooms. Please make sure you clean the room and freshen the air quality of those rooms
Location: You can shop, watch movie and experience great cuisine at numerous restaurants nearby. There are some great chinese and indian restaurants nearby
I will check in this hotel again just because of its location. It is located in really a quiet place, I mean really quiet and at the same time it is in the middle of everything in Beaverton. Lots of shops, mall, restaurants in walking distance. The major complain is cooking smell. There is a cooking stove in these rooms and definitely people cook, but the ventilation is not great so it has a very stale smell. Hotel should clean the room very well and make air quality in those room better One thing we liked most was the location. We tried so many good indian, chinese, mexican restaurants, unbelievable. Just yelp it. I am waiting to get to Beaverton again to experience those food again as i could not try all the items in the menu

Visit family and do some shopping.

Posted 27-Mar-2017
Pros: Close to my son's house and very convenient for shopping and restaurants.
Cons: Soundproofing walls.
Location: Off of 185th and restaurants and shopping close by.
Great stay but rooms need to be sound proofed as I was awake for over 2 hrs while people in next room had a very LOUD sexual encounter. Could not drown it out even with the TV going. Other than that it was good. Staff was very nice and very helpful

Good halfway place to stay between family members

Posted 10-Jan-2017
Pros: Glad it had a refrigerator and sink and area for food prep.
Cons: Upgraded carpets, making sure people upstairs do not stomp around at all times of the night.
Location: Good location next to the Streets of Tanasbourne, Whole Foods and Immediate Care.
The staff were quite ambivalent about noticing we were there. Not too friendly, not really welcoming.

Never Again --

Posted 22-Dec-2016
Pros: Leaving
Cons: Room cleanliness, upkeep, staff professionalism and courtesy.
Location: Shopping, dining options are plentiful. Traffic can be an issue during peak travel times.
Nice looking property until you enter the room. Queen bed was on the small side and very uncomfortable. Moulding strips missing from counter-tops. Stained, dirty, worn carpet. Could hear people above us including every time they ran water, flushed, etc. WI-FI was slow. Dogs belong in kennels, not hotels. They couldn't guarantee me that the room we had was a pet free room. Clerk stated "We clean them." Well looking at the dirty carpet, stained lavatory sink, and the housekeeper who was more focused on texting and talking to her friends / ride home... I doubt it. Cater to canines and those that need to travel with them. I will stay at exclusively human establishments...they are problematic enough. Never again....

My usual hotel when I come and stay in this area

Posted 21-Dec-2016
Pros: Location
Cons: There is a ventilating fun in the kitchen, but the air is just circulated there and never exhausted outside.
Location: There is a bus stop a few minnutes on foot. There are supermaekets like Safeway or TraderJoes across from Collonel road and some restaurants.
The hotel let us borrow a dinner set and cook what we want in the small kitchen. The hotel was quieter than usual because of less guests before Christmas We can ask every day housekeeping service at the front desk with additional charge.
