I didn’t like that the bathroom tub walls weren’t clean and I didn’t appreciate the morning cafe employee lacking customer service skills. Our room was provided a complimentary breakfast due to the bathroom and because we didn’t have two he wanted me to take care of obtaining a second to accommodate my second guest. It was communicated to him that there was two of us and it’s not my job to know we should’ve received two. So instead of him saying no problem let me take care of this for you, he made me go to the front desk. We were tight on time and simply should’ve received better service than this. Even after asking that a maid come clean the tub, it was never done. So this will be the one and only time I’ll be staying at this courtyard by Marriott. Disappointed!

Bathroom door didn’t lock. We informed the front desk; they sent someone who had no clue… said, let me see if there is another lock available, and never returned. The bath tub won’t drain. There is a lot of neighborhood noise. Overall, won’t recommend.

Hot tub and a bistro/bar!
This hotel is nice and very well kept. All of the staff we encountered were helpful and pleasant. We wanted to stay here because of the restaurant and bar on site along with the indoor hot tub and pool. The bistro had very good food, and the drinks were delicious as well, afterwards we jumped in the Jacuzzi before settling in for the night. Our room had great views of the Columbia river, so if you can request a river view room, I highly encourage it! The room was very clean and everything wasn’t working order, nice and spacious.

When I arrived the front desk was very pleasant to my co-worker and as it was my turn to be assisted, they were short, rude did not ask the same questions about any needs. I asked about a billing question and they stated "because you booked through Expedia, we cannot assist you." Then when I called regarding the fan in the room was very loud and would not turn off, they only provided me with moving me (at 10 pm) to the 1st floor close to the front which they acknowledged that it would possibly be noisier. They lacked any apology and verbally scoffed while I was on the phone regarding this issue. Though the room was nice, the rest of the hotel was very dissapointing.

The front desk was great at check-in and the bistro is open late and serves a variety of food in a relaxed setting. Even on a Friday night there was available parking in the secured garage, and the spaces are large and accessible

Great vibes & customer service, secured parking!
Our first room had a slight tv malfunction (no volume) and they immediately sent someone out to check at 9pm, and when it wasn't immediately solvable, offered us a new room; within 5 minutes we had a new room number, keys in hand and a luggage cart waiting at our door in case we needed it. AMAZING customer service, including at the tasty Bistro. Beautiful courtyard with a gorgeous fountain, view, and fire pit; tons of intimate and comfy seating around the facility to hang out (yes, you'll actually want to!).

We arrived later on a Friday evening for one night and all was quiet. It was a very short stay, but check in/out quick and easy. The parking wasn't bad, some reviews claimed it was tight, but it wasn't crowded at all. The room was clean and comfortable. All was well with our stay. I believe there were several restaurants close by, but it was late and we were tired so we didn't experience any.

Convenient to North Portland and I5. Staff is very friendly. Hotel restaurant is very good. Quiet rooms. Fitness center, pool and hot tub. I will always stay here when returning to North Portland.
