Perfect experience super close to the airport but didn’t hear a sound, excellent staff, room was clean and setup nicely, shopping and dining 1/2 mile away, all around very pleased!!

The beds were so comfortable which seems to be rare in any hotel room anywhere. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook a meal and the room was very roomy the prices were good too.

Front desk personnel was very friendly and professional. Also, the room was very comfortable and clean. The facility is in a questionable neighborhood but the property is gated. Also, the rooms are cleaned with highly perfumed cleaners.

Hi Nadeem,We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused you during your travel but check in time is at 3 p.m. and this is standard practice at many properties. As a courtesy we do message every single guest on this platform ahead of time informing them about early check in requests as well as many other details related to what’s included in your reservation and what you can expect while staying with us. Please note early check in before 10 a.m. equals a full prior nights charge. Anything from 10a.m. - 12 p.m. is a 50 early check in fee, and anything from 12p.m. - 3p.m. is 25.00 early check in fee.

the shuttle service to the airport should start earlier than 5:00am. because most flights depart at 5 so people need to be at the airport 2 or 3 hours prior. that is why I am not giving 5 stars Thank you

Clean, friendly, little sketchy outside the hotel
Lobby was very warm, facility was pretty clean overall, bed and pillows comfy. Full kitchenette with full size fridge, microwave, plus all dinnerware, coffe,etc needed for an overnight stay. I didnt see, but my other half said the toilet was not properly cleaned. The alarm clockwas plugged in but it was not functioning, reported immediately. Parking was is very tight. Little sketchy at night. 1st night we didn't have a car, so we walked across the street to Shari's for a late night meal, almost got jacked! Staff was friendly and good customer service. Just a place to lay your head at, then good to go.

Staff were great. They’re very warm, accommodating and all were smiling including housekeeping. It’s very refreshing to come to that atmosphere after hours of driving. Check in was easy. Our room was spacious and clean. We had the 1 bedroom suite and it was ample space for the three of us. The kitchen had a full size fridge, a small stove, a good size microwave, dishwasher and a sink and kitchen amenities. All perfect for our stay. You can also borrow kitchen appliances should you need one. There’s tons of parking. Also, was quiet and we slept well comfortably. Bed was comfortable.

Stayed on nights before and after trip. First night, no coffee filters. I called front desk after I had changed for bed and a very early flight. The desk told me to come get some. So I got dressed again to go to lobby to get filters and back to room to u dress and go to sleep. Face it, all hotels in this price range are the same. It's the little things, like stocking filters or bringing them up to the room. Second night, I knew to ask. And again, no filters. Or ice. I wanted ice, the most basic hotel item. Like sheets. The ice maker in fridge was off. Called front desk. Apparently there IS NO ice maker in the building. No coffee. No ice. No return business. I will never waste my money here again. It's basic. Like expecting your meal to be hot. BTW I work in hospitality.

Happy But Disappointed
I’ve been staying here for over 10 years when I travel through Portland International, the level of service has always been amazing. I’ve noticed lately that their shuttle service isn’t quite what it’s been. They now don’t offer shuttle after 9:30pm nor will they take you to shopping destinations like in past. Doesn’t seem like a big deal with Uber but it definitely was a reason I loved this hotel. Maybe they will revisit this service in the future! Sincerely Loyal Customer

This was an AMAZING stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, crisp and stylish. We loved all of the amenities and felt extremely comfortable and relaxed. There were more amenities than we expected or even needed, but we loved the options that were available. Again, the staff was genuinely friendly, kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and for longer too!

The room was spacious, clean and offered a homey feel. But, That’s about it. The staff were surprisingly over casual and lazy. If it’s hotel policy to bring down used towels for new ones, then the hotel is should know it’s ridiculous. We did appreciate the store, locker with items to use and the quality of the apartment, king bed room.

Most guests staying with us are here for months at a time or even longer then that because we are an extended stay property. So I just wanted to go more into depth on our policies just in case there was a miscommunication at check in. Housekeeping comes by once a week to clean rooms on a schedule that is by floor, although refreshes may be requested once a week and will be approved on a case by case basis. Towels must be outside of your door before 10am to be picked up and exchanged by our housekeeping team, anything after 10a.m. will need to be exchanged at the front desk. We thank you for choosing the Candlewood Suites PDX location, and we use feedback such as yours to continuously make changes to our brand for improvement.

The surrounding area is very dirty. There were homeless people all around the property. Their security gate does not work. Our car and a van were broken into. Our doordash order was dropped at thr front desk then stolen. The front desk associate hat no idea if or when someone was in the lobby.
