Thus was our first time staying in Portland, and the location close to many interesting places, including Fremont Avenue restaurants and Portland University or downtown made this an ideal location. The neighborhood itself is very green and vibrant, and we enjoyed nice walks after other visits. The rental itself fresh and clean with plenty of space and privacy. It was in a lower level basement, but there was plenty of light and fresh air from big windows and a nicely open design. The kitchen had all the appliances needed for full cooking, though since we were on vacation we did try a number of restaurants around the city.
