You can walk for miles. The water is shallow near the shore, making it an excellent place for small children to play in the surf. Barrier Dunes itself is ideally situated on the Cape, right next to the entrance to St. Joe's Peninsula State Park with its many hiking, biking, wildlife viewing and beach exploring opportunities. The beach views are amazing and it is a quick walk to the beach and pool. We had to do some online work while were there and the desk in the master bedroom is marvelous. We Enjoyed our stay at “STEPPED ON A POPTART’. A very well supplied and maintained condo just steps from the beach. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with.
