The beach is just a quick jaunt down the boardwalk from the pool, which is less than 100 steps away from the back porch! Enjoy a day at the pool, or hop over to the beach for some soaking in the sand! A second community pool is available for your enjoyment during your stay as well, drive over to the Village Center and take the path over to enjoy the larger, heated, and resort-style pool. Challenge one another to a game of Ping-Pong in the garage or allow the kids to play outside in the cul-de-sac or the backyard area. The Windmark Beach community also offers resort-style amenities with a lively Village center a short drive from the home with the golf cart offering restaurants, a fitness center(must pay separately), and The Mill and Mercantile which has live music most weekends. After a day in the sun, rinse off in the outdoor shower and then find yourself lounging in the spacious living room where plenty of seating and a large TV await your relaxation to lounge. An additional TV room ensures all family members can be tuned into their favorite shows or sports games. Whip up delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen with large island and bar seating. Fire up the outdoor gas grill to assist in preparing your meals. Have your morning cup of coffee on the patio, with ample seating, or eat your evening meal while watching the sunset. A second kitchen area is available with stainless steel appliances and additional seating. You'll discover an oasis in the primary bedroom with a king bed, and its dazzling en-suite bathroom. Here, you can relax in the large soaking tub. A second primary bedroom is available with a king bed, a third bedroom with a queen bed, and a fourth bedroom with bunk beds. The house is at the end of a quiet street and the pool is nearly in the backyard. The garage was thoughtfully stocked with beach chairs, wagons, and bicycles, as well as a ping pong table. The location couldn't be more perfect to watch beautiful sunsets and walk to the pool. We enjoyed the golf cart immensely and used it every day to get to the beach boardwalks at the other section of Windmark. The beds were so comfortable and plenty of towels were provided. The kitchen was stocked wonderfully! One of the best beach house kitchens we've ever had! The rental company was one of the most responsive and helpful communicators I've ever dealt with. We all really enjoyed the area of the “forgotten coast.” It was nice to be in such a quiet non commercialized beach area. The beaches were nice and not crowded at all. I would definitely stay here again! The house was wonderful! So clean and so pretty. The manager was always very responsive to message and even let us check in about 30 minutes early since it was clean and ready. The listing states it has a washer and dryer but it was tiny! Held maybe 3 beach towels I expected a full size machine. Both king sized beds didn’t seem to have the bed frame attached to the headboard so it bumped on the wall every time you rolled over so it became annoying. I would have loved for the house to have a broom. It would have helped us keep the sand cleaned up easier. Only other issue was I expected it to be closer to the beach. We could rode the golf cart around the neighborhood and to the beach access but it was still a long walk to get to the beach. We booked this house thinking it would be easy for my mom to access and it wasn’t.
