"We loved the setting/landscape, the outdoor patio, and the pool. Our room was lovely, too, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We also liked the proximity to the lake/beach. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to the beach and we enjoyed sunset by the water. The restaurant in the hotel was also nice, if a bit misleading about the description of the dishes (e.g., two eggs was really one egg if you opted for the small portion). But overall, we enjoyed our stay. I loved the in-room coffee a lot and our room had a fireplace that, even if it was only decorative, it still made the room feel cozy. We hope to come back again sometime. "

"Staying at the Riverside Cottage is like a step into the life you wish you could live year round. It has everything you could possibly want or need. The views are stunning and kayaking there is one of my favourite parts of the summer. Margo is a welcoming host. We will be back again! "

The place was clean and fit our family (me, teenage boy, two nieces, sister and husband and our two dogs perfectly)Propane tank was replaced promptly and the water tank was repaired when hot water tank broke.Best part was the access to private beach!
