"This is an EXCELLENT property! I think the reviews are showing some old data as this property has been renovated the conditions in the comments are not accurate at all. The views were fantastic and the accommodations are great for a large group of folks. I would give this property 5 stars except for having to bring or rent linens/towels and bring our own toilet paper/shampoo/hairdryer/soap. Very inconvenient, especially to people flying in from out of state. I would definitely go back to this property, especially if the basics of a stay are provided as most other properties do now."

"Overall a grand house and property and has more places to sleep than it seems in the pictures. There are additional mattresses throughout in closets. We were the first wedding to use the on site tent and storage items, although I was not aware I would be the first. I was talked out of my initial tent rental through an outside company as I had booked that before a permanent tent was added to the property. The tent on site is huge and there are plenty of tables and chairs supplied. There were definitely some kinks to be worked out as those specific offerings are new to them. We had to fix the lighting before use and the generator did not give off as much power as expected. The cost is high for a self-service experience, but as are most wedding venues. The place was mostly clean, but small items like glass doors and bathroom mirrors were noticeably dirty. Many stays appear to be same day change, as when we arrived at 4:00 the cleaners were still finishing up due to a late checkout. Cleaners were very kind, they just have a huge house to get through in a short time. The fire pit is a great area and the deck has a lot of good seating areas. Hot tub is huge. Kitchen is also huge - well stocked. A great place to stay if you have a large group. Floating dock and little fishing boat are a cool addition. Sound system in the house is another cool factor, appeared to have a camera aimed at it. A lot of responsibility on the guest to stay at such a large property."

"Great house on a beautiful lake! Plenty of space for a large group: three large common areas, enough bedrooms and bathrooms for kids and adults, two large tables for meals.We enjoyed spending time on a wrap-around deck with lots of seating, Used kayaks and canoe many times and swam in the lake. The house is secluded and quiet while being located only 10 minutes away from two towns with many restaurants and activities."

"We had a wonderful stay at the "deck house." There were 23 of us, ages 1-82. Plenty of bedrooms, beds, bathrooms, sitting and dining areas and the deck was huge. It's located on a quiet part of the lake. We kayaked and fished every day. We rented a pontoon for a couple of days to explore the lake and go tubing. The walk to the swimming hole was easy. It's not a real beach area to hangout at, but it worked for the little kids in the family. Kitchen was large so plenty of people could help out with meals. There were plenty of games too....rumicube, cards, bocce, ping pong, pool, cornhole. Eric was quick to respond to my numerous questions as I planned the week. A vacation we will never forget."
