shabby yes chic definatley NO !

probably the worst room i have ever stayed in shabby chic...not ! shabby yes both bed side lamps did not work one falling apart no socket on one side the other side sockets in the room did not work so couldnt use or the plug in radiator the furniture certainly isnt well though out pieces of shabby chic design but more of they just were broken junk from a skip the bed was just made up from old junk timber and posts built around two single divan beds with a mattress on top sheet was marked and ink stained the room in geral was grubby. the tv didnt work as had the wrong remote couldnt use ipad as for the day we arrived the wi-fi didnt work until later that evening the shower door frame was hanging off just held on by a sticking out woodscrew no hairdryer as advertised (partner found out after washing hair for going out) towels were already damp extractor fan in bathroom woefully inadequate and didnt clear the bathroom had to wait with the window open to use but the biggest fault if the others were not enough the old victorian single glazed draughty bay window !!! this place is on the main road between poole and bournemouth and at a traffic junction trust me the traffic never stops even through the night !!! (not mentioned) drop the homemade blinds and they fall on your head the room at well over 100 pounds a night is an utter joke the food in this place is average pub grub at most and certainley not authentic thai food , only if they went shopping to iceland first

Ok for a couple of nights stay, there are many restaurants and bars nearby which is great. Everything was great but once thing I’d say is maybe this hotel should look into getting a separate entrance for the hotel section as you have to go through the restaurant to to get to your rooms. But other than that it was very clean and staff were very helpful :)
