"My group had a fantastic stay at the Vale. The rooms were excellent with large comfortable beds, very good bathroom facilities though a light over the bathroom mirror would have been appreciated. The breakfast buffet was excellent with excellent options, though the coffee from the machines was not to my liking it was quite weak. The restaurant was excellent with a good menu choice. The bar was comfortable but on one night was let down by slow service behind the bar and tables not being cleared. I would hope that was down to a poor staffing night rather than the norm! Staff were genuinely friendly and courteous. The pool and gym facilities were excellent despite the showers being out of action. Overall a lovely stay and I would definitley consider staying again in the future."

"The hotel is best suited for one - or two if you don't mind having to step around each other. The rooms are quite small, the bed too big for the room. Rhe little deskette with chair, if used, collides with the bed. The bath has all the usual, but is by far, the smallest I've ever met. The good, though, is that the hotel is mere feet from Cardiff Central and is well located. The desk staff pleasant and helpful, and the bed is comfortable. It works if you arent going to spend any significant time IN the room."
