Our room was very attractive, comfortable and (apart from a few American guests who decided to hold loud conversations in the hallway) quiet. The breakfast staff were very nice, and there was a fair range of Gluten-free options. The location was excellent, minutes' walk from most of the places we wanted to be in Florence.

This hotel is a few steps away from the Piazza Della Repubblica and is very close to tourist posts. Everything was walkable for us and food options around the hotel were plenty. Our accommodation came with free breakfast and the pistachio croissant was a winner! Ample breakfast options to help us start our day. Room was clean and spacious enough. I would recommend this hotel!

Very close to Milano Centrale. Lots of restaurants around the property. The place is very clean and the host Nicola is very pleasant, nice and he provided us with breakfast. We got to check in by 12:30 pm. Thank you Nicola!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Pendini. We were a large group of 10 people and had 4 rooms. It's charming like a boutique hotel and luxurious like a large chain hotel. The hotel is on the 4th floor of a building right in the heart of Florence, making it incredibly walkable to EVERYTHING. They have 2 elevators making it easy to get up with luggage. The rooms are adorable and everything you'd want when staying in Florence. They're quite large and the bathrooms are well equipped. The shocking thing was that they had air conditioning! As an American this was amazing to have. Every day they had a drawing room with comfy couches and chairs for people to sit and mingle. In this room was water, juice and coffee 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This was a super nice touch, and one that made us feel welcome and at home. The best part of this hotel was the breakfast. It was absolutely delicious and had a nice mix of pastries with hot items. The pistachio croissants were to die for, and they always had plenty of eggs, meats, cheeses, breads, fruit and homemade cappuccinos for the guests. I can't recommend this hotel enough. It is incredibly well priced for what you get, and its location is unmatched. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

Location is great and the best part of the hotel! It’s walkable to many iconic sites. The property itself is veey basic and dated. The water temperature in the shower changes 10 times during the course of the shower.

had a 4 night stay at the hotel which is in a lovely historic building. We only had a standard room which was on the small side but perfectly adequate for a few nights. the communal area is lovely and the breakfast was extremely good. the hotel is very centrally located for all the sites and the Hard Rock Cafe is located on the ground floor if you are too tired to walk far fo eat. there are also lots of good italian eateries in the surrounding area. i would stay here again

The room was not as advertised. We have 4 beds in one large room - it was supposed to be two separate rooms, I hear this happens often. The property was in a great location, and Florence is very walkable from here. However, it is on a square and our room faced the square with music blasting until 1 AM on a Monday night and until midnight on a Tuesday night. We won't stay here again.

Dear Guest,you booked a quadruple room that is composed by one bedroom with 4 beds and one bathroom, to have 2 separate rooms you supposed to book a family suite that is composed by 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. Next time you can read carefully the room description. You got what you booked and paid. We always assign the typeof the room booked we do not change them.

We got a good deal in February on Expedia for about $123 per night. I think this price was reserved for the attic rooms as we were shown a steep tiny winding staircase to get to the room. A porter had to bring our bags as it is near impossible to take luggage up the staircase. The room was clean, had a balcony in which you could see the top of the Duomo and bell tower nearby. The downside is the staircase, but again, I think that was for the “special Expedia price”. I believe their normal rooms are about $60 more. The breakfast was good and you can’t beat the location. Another downside is that our room smelled extremely musty. Very noticeable. I would give a higher rating if it were not for them smell. The staff was very good and helpful. If you park a car, it’s essentially a valet service and convenient. We paid 36 euro a night for car parking.

Great historic property at the heart of Florence. Facilities and staff great, especially the kitchen staff and room cleaning services. The only grumble would be the small size of the standard double room. All in all a great stay.

Excellent property in a great location. Lost one star as our room faced the main square which randomly had sudden loud karaoke or organised singing throughout the day and night including early hours. Great breakfast, helpful, efficient staff. I would recommend, and would stay again, but would check the planned noise in the square or request a non-square facing room.

Our second longer stay at Pendini was every bit as good as our first. Convenient to everything and claiming one of the really excellent included breakfasts in all Italy. Hard to leave.

A little hard to find and if you have a car a little hard to stop to unpack. The hotel will organise parking for you which is great. Breakfast was included and was very nice, lots of options. Travelling as a family of 4 and all the beds were decent size. Two bedrooms separated by a small internal entryway. Great for the family. Close to everything, very walkable.

This hotel is beautiful! The staff was so professional & accommodating. They allowed us to check in early. Their breakfast buffet was a plus & saved us some $$, not to mention their food selections for the buffet were quite varied. I would have given this hotel an all 5-star rating were it not for the one downside that the internet connection was horrible in our room. We could only remain connected for a half-hour at a time then get disconnected. But we stayed only for a night & came back to the hotel from Pisa quite late so we did not bother to inform the front desk. I would recommend this hotel & if you’re staying for more than a night, just make sure to ask about the internet connection. The staff is really wonderful & willing to assist.

Gorgeous hotel. I have stayed at the Ritz-Carlton and four seasons in Chicago. I’d say this hotel room was even more gorgeous. More spacious. I don’t know if we were given a special room but it was amazing. A gorgeous balcony facing the square. Something I’ll never forget, in an unbelievable city that I can’t wait to go back to. This was my first time in Europe and this hotel was a highlight. Classy, elegant, not overdone. I saw the pictures online but didn’t expect it to be as or more gorgeous. Thank you Expedia for allowing me to experience this with my points. Just booked my next trip to keep earning. Oh! The breakfast was amazing. Go early if you are short on time, but go. It might be a little. It if a wait if you go later. For a free breakfast you can’t get anything like that in the US.

All the staff at the hotel are so professional and hospitable! The antique furnishings and decor of the hotel is gorgeous. The rooms are clean and the best is how easy it is to access all the local attractions from this hotel. We dined out every night, and found great places to eat fresh and seasonal foods everywhere. The people of Firenze are lovely, and welcoming, and we fell in love with their lovely city.

Absolutely loved the stay at Hotel Pendini. The staff were wonderful, the breakfast was absolutely delicious every single morning. Great distance from all the major sites in Florence, and I would absolutely rebook here if we end up in Florence in the future.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, it states they have Central AC, we arrive and they tell us we can’t use the AC so we had to sleep with the windows open which would be fine however we each left covered in mosquito bites. The walls are paper thin so we hardly slept in the week long stay due to noise in the courtyard, hallways and surrounding rooms. Shower would go from normal temperature to scalding hot and then freezing cold while showering and the pillows provided were also paper thin. Overall horrible experience. Location was great for walking/shopping/dining. Would never stay at this hotel again.
