The quiet country life has things that are hard to find! Days seem to pass in slow-motion and experiences are lived with more intensity. Here you will find all this and much more... Casa da Vargem II, is set in a plot of two properties, located in the warm and sunny municipality of Ponta do Sol, in a privileged area with excellent sun exposure and sea views. The property has large green areas surrounding the properties, as well as a beautiful organic vegetable garden tended by D. Fátima, who takes care of the large variety of aromatic herbs available. To complete the good outdoor spaces, the property has a wonderful shared pool with infinity ocean views and a hot tub where you can take your anti-stress bath in comfort. Inside, the decoration combines with the modern architectural features that stand out through simplicity and good taste. The house has a bedroom with a double bed; a bathroom; and a fully equipped kitchen. The maximum capacity is 2 guests The house has a parking lot. Baby amenities can be provided at an extra cost. Please contact us for more information. THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA The house is located in the southwestern part of the island, in the municipality of Ponta do Sol. Nearby you will find a small grocery store where you can do some shopping. The house is 6 minutes away from the center of Ponta do Sol. Here you will find several restaurants, coffee shops and a few stores. In the municipality of Ribeira Brava, which is a 10-minute drive from the property, you will find supermarkets and some local shops. The airport is 40 minutes away by car and the city of Funchal 25 minutes away. TRANSPORT The best option to get to the property is by transfer. Ask us to arrange one with our local partners. It's cheaper than the cabs you'll find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app will easily find the address. GUESTS ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the apartment. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS We are always available to help or answer any questions. Please contact us via cell phone numbers or email. We will do our best to accommodate all requests. OTHER REMARKS \-According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid identification document (e.g. passport, identity card). \-Check-in must be scheduled in advance. The facility leaves nothing to be desired. The rooms are clear and bright. Everything is there to be able to take care of yourself. Nevertheless, a rental car is advisable. Especially to reach as many places as possible to explore the island. Unfortunately, the temperatures were too cool for the time of year. So using the swimming pool was only for the very brave.
