Loved this hotel. We had a standard room which was up in the 'attic'; modern, clean and contemporary with a huge bed and very large bathroom with separate walk-in shower. We even had a view of the harbour through the skylight windows. The decor had a nautical edge to it and though neutral had a romantic and homely feel.
The location is excellent, on the quieter edge of the Port de Pollensa pine walk within easy walking to lots of very nice restaurants and bars. The hotel bar itself is overlooking the bay and breakfast can also be taken outside on the waters edge.
There is a small area for sunbathing at the front of the hotel. we were worried we may not be able to secure a spot as there were a lot of people reserving beds (even though that goes against the hotel policy - no-one was policing it) but there was constant movement throughout the day and we were able to find good spots for sunbathing. There is an outside pool but this is in the shade for the majority of the day. The hotel does have a small fitness room, an indoor pool and a spa but we did not have time to use them.
We took a half day trip in the hotel's boat which was very relaxing. It takes a maximum of 12 passengers so it feels very private (only 7 on our trip). The skipper was knowledgeable about the area and we stopped off in a little bay past Formentor for snorkelling and swimming.
Although it was the school holidays and there were families staying there, the hotel has a definite adult/couples air about it.

we have seen this hotel many times on our visits to the Port, (we would usually stay in Cala San Vincente)
and thought that looks a very nice place, tried on occasions to book , but always booked up !
we went with 3 couples and we had a fabulous time, location , location , location ....pool area is great , limited space but the system they adopt, not allowing people not to reserve beds at silly o'clock is good as the pool opens only @ 9am...so there is a queue at this time to get a bed....but it's fair !
plenty of restaurants to choose from literally on the doorstep.
will definitely be back

As they are the only hotel in the area they can do as they please. You pay their prices or don't go.
They lead you to believe that they have a private beach when it's not. If you want a sunbed on the beach it's 16 euro's each, per day .Nowhere can you find a price for the buffet dinner.Only the hugely expensive suites have a balcony, the sea and mountain view rooms just have a small window. The rooms are painfully small for the cost.
On the day that we left we were locked out of our room before 12.00 noon, very embarrassing !!
Northwest Mallorca’s prettiest town, Pollensa is sited in the northern foothills of the Sierra de Tramuntana. Its characterful Old Town dates from the 17th and 18th centuries; walk to the top of its Via Crucis for great views. The port and beach area, Puerto Pollensa, is a relaxed modern mid-rise resort set on a wide bay with white sand beaches. The Pollensa International Classical Music Festival (July and August) attracts international stars.
