Pollenca Uyal, close to paradise.

Posted 31-Jul-2017
Pros: Our room had an awesome shower. The breakfast was absolutely incredible, cooked food, omelettes cooked to order, fruit fresh, breads, pastries...
Cons: We ate out every night but the dress code was a bit off putting and the evening meal could have gone on later.
Location: Beach front hotel. Easy walk to town, bars and shops or to the local bars. Llenaira has the closest bus stop giving access to cheap local services.
The hotel experience was everything we could have hoped for. We (an early fifties couple) visited Pollenca 2 years ago, we could not get the same hotel as last time so we choice the one we liked the look of most from what we remembered of the previous trip. It proved a great base for the beach an getting out to the wider island. The rooms were clean and well looked after. We had a side facing room with views to the beach and to the mountains behind.

Great hotel right by the beach

Posted 29-Jul-2017
We had a lovely stay at Hoposa Uyal. We were lucky enough to have a sea view and the view was amazing. The hotel is well placed across the road from the lovely beach and only a few minutes walk from bars and restaurants. The room was very clean and the breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Drinks in the bar were fairly expensive so would recommend using the bars in the port, one of which had a great live band playing one evening.

Lovely hotel, close to really nice uncrowded beach

Posted 28-Jul-2017
Location: The hotel in situated a 15 minute walk from the shops and restaurants, but the beach was much quieter and just across the road.
We enjoyed our stay with family including 2 young grandchildren. Staff were very helpful and always bright and cheerful.

Lovely hotel with sandy beach immediately opposite

Posted 26-Jul-2017
Pros: The hotel was very clean and tidy and had character. There was entertainment nightly either at the hotel or its sister hotel a mere 50 m or so away.
Cons: Nothing really
Location: The hotel was well appointed with numerous eating venues close by. The town centre/harbour was some 15/20 mins walking distance.
This was our first time staying in an overseas hotel. It was very easy going with all staff speaking good English and making us welcome and helpful at all times. Would go again and have no problems in recommending it others.

Elegant hotel at the quiet end of Puerto Pollensa

Posted 04-Jul-2017
Pros: It's classy, elegant, clean, comfortable and typically Majorcan. It's in a quiet part of town and right on the beach!!!
Cons: Nothing - it was exactly what I was looking for.
Location: On the beach. Short stroll to the port, which is wonderful. A must is a visit to Pollensa old town. Hotel rents bikes so do explore! Enjoy the beach!
I booked a 4 day mini break and chose the Uyal based upon the reviews on several websites. I wasn't disappointed. I had a nice single room, fully refurbished with a lovely en-suite shower room, loads of storage and a comfy bed. No view to enjoy but this was no concern to me as I was out enjoying Pollensa, not looking at it from my room! Staff were delightful, from the maids to the reception staff. Breakfast (I had B&B) was buffet style and was very nicely cooked and presented. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely. The pool was fine - not the landscaped sort but was lovely and clean with sunbeds around. I was there for the beach so only used it once. Location is ideal - across a quiet road which runs along the shore is the beautiful, spotless beach. Sunbeds and parasol's for hire, crystal clear water and a Spar shop 100m down the road for water, ice cream's etc. The walk into town was a pleasant one, taking about 15 minutes at a gentle stroll. A few nice bars and restaurants of on the way to the Port. Once in town, there is an abundance of restaurants and bars to suit everybody's taste. i had four nights in four different restaurants and had a fab meal every time. Don't be tempted to stick to the places on the sea front, delve into the town a little and you'll find some lovely places to eat and drink. I could come here time and time again. It has everything a discerning traveler could possibly need for a fab stay.

Good quality hotel close to the beach

Posted 03-Jul-2017
The room was very spacious with a very comfortable and large bed. Excellent air conditioning. The food was as you would expect from a large hotel. Nothing exceptional but adequate.

Nice hotel close to beach

Posted 02-Jul-2017
Pros: Quiet location, very few children around, even fewer teenagers. Mainly uk people of more experience age wise.
Cons: Some transport arrangement to move less mobile people from hotel to resort centre. Clearer details of room location on booking.
Location: About a 15 minute walk from hotel to town centre. Good beach location.
Fast sign-in/out, good staff, clean, small pool, smaller gym/spa, small well furnished room ( some may say pokey) in separate building (ugly). Breakfasts good, dinner very hit and miss, usual buffet complaints - dodging other people, finding what you want to eat, luke-warm food etc.

Locatiôn and élégance

Beautiful building that was renovated from a historical era. The staff at front desk very nice and both check in and check out were quick. Breakfast choices are very nice and I just wish they have fresh orange juices instead of boxes.
