The villa was ideal for my wife and I and our daughter to spend a few days in Tuscany. It is in a quiet part of the countryside with beautiful views over hills and valleys and the property itself is also very attractive. We stayed in Frantoio, which has a kitchen and living room, and small bathroom (toilet and small bathtub for kids) downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs, one with an en-suite bathroom. The size and layout suited us perfectly and it was separate from the main building. This may be preferable for some in busy times, although the whole property was very quiet and private while we were there, even though I was told there were others staying there at the same time.
Antonio was very friendly and helpful and helped make our stay enjoyable with directions and suggestions for the local area, and my wife and I really liked the wine his wife makes. The villa is an easy 7km drive from Poggibonsi, but follow the directions that Antonio provides as it is an easier route than the way our GPS took us the first time. That way was still very picturesque, through some beautiful scenery and a little village, but was slow winding and very narrow in a few parts.
Overall we had wonderful stay with the only problem being that it was not long enough. The listing and photos were very accurate and the property very clean and well maintained. We did day trips to Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa and Lucca. I highly recommend this villa to others looking for a peaceful stay in Tuscan countryside with easy access to surrounding towns.
