The accommodation was one of the most luxurious I have ever seen and one of the best designed. There was nothing that was missing and every detail was taken care off including having a full bottle of Port wine available without extra charge as well as many other little things. The bathroom was unbelievable with a bathtub in the middle of the bathroom, an indoor and an outdoor shower under the stars. Complete privacy, so that no one can see any neighbors. Amazing peace and quiet, perfect service and a lot of space. Definitely highly recommended.

Sadly we only stayed one night. The place is quirky and fun.
The rooms are well appointed, and those insanely tall bed are decked with lovely bed linens and great pillows.
The breakfast is nice and you can pretty much have breakfast your way.
Dinner was good, though not great. The wait staff while very nice, does not listen closely to the guest's instructions. Blame it on our American accent!
Overall a good stay.

This is the no 1 rated hotel in Plet? Not to my mind, I'm sorry.
Being situated on a cliff is only great when the weather is good, otherwise you are slap bang in the face of the wind and the rain. To ring for entry into the property you have to get out of your car (in our case in the rain), the dirt road isn't too well kept. On Sunday morning the hotel ran out of water halfway through my shower! Door lock didn't work.
Food was good, view spectacular when the weather changed for the better. Staff very friendly, but technical staff took their time.
We stayed 3 nights. Nice restaurant. Wide variety of courses. Great breakfast. Wouldn't recommend the steak. Short drive to the beaches and shops. Relaxing. Struggled with too many steps up and down (only downer). Very helpful staff especially during the load shedding! Enjoyed great swims before breakfast.
The most fashionable spot on the Garden Route, Plettenburg Bay (also known as the Plett) is the playground of the rich and famous. In addition to outdoor activities, the Plett is home to delightful beaches, guest homes and fancy hotels, fine dining, and exquisite boutiques.
