It provides beautiful views and friendly service. The security guards and cleaning staff monitor the area regularly. Its quiet and relaxing, and a 3 min walk to the main strip with all the shops, restaurants and clubs. The buildings are quiet and clean and the front desk staff are very helpful. This condo was spotless, roomy and had a gorgeous view of the ocean, fronted by the infinity pool. I love hearing and seeing the ocean, and this was perfect for it. There was a bit of noise from within the building from other guests, but nothing to disturb our rest. Location was close to shops, but not too close. The mattress was the best I’ve ever slept on during vacation! I wish the pool was heated, but I’m a wimp. Overall, a lovely condo. Place is located in the heart of playa. 5th Ave is half block away. Tons of restaurants/bars/shops to choose from. The pool was a bit cold for our kids but it was pretty windy while we were their. The condo does not have a oven, but has a small toaster oven. Check in was super easy. Their are lots of lounge chairs in the pool area but most people put down there towels around 8am to reserve them for the day. You could not reserve them on Sat or Sundays, but the policy was inconsistently enforced. Overall we were happy with the place and the location is fantastic, but we just wish the pool was a bit warmer and the lounger reservation system was a bit clearer. ##### Damon G. There were 3 couples staying in room 104 and we had a fabulous time. The condo, service, grounds, pool and beach bar were all top notch. The condo was clean and comfortable. The maid service came every other day with 4 people. The Wickys bar and restaurant and the beach club had fabulous food and service. We loved our time there, it was a very comfortable place. It was pretty & nicely decorated. We had plenty of space, & we cooked all but 3 meals there in the condo for the 9 days we were there. The only thing I can think of is a better supply of containers for meals & larger serving bowls, & some sharper knives. A few more variety size pots & some baking pans. The access to the pool was great along with the pool. It is a beautiful place. Thank you so much for sharing it with people. We will come again. :) ##### Dwena B. Archival ### 8/10 Good #### Mark P. 20 Jul 2015 #### Another good stay in El Faro We love the location and the units at Rl Faro. It was really nice being on the ground floor. There was however only 1 large TV for the entire unit, which had been previously key locked, so we couldn't hook up any of our devices to it at all. The DVD only played regional DVD's, so none of our DVD's worked in it as well. The pool could have been kept a little cleaner, but it was getting tons of use as there was a constant bloom and lots of sea weed on the beach this year. There was constant construction noise too, but we didn't mind any of these things too much. Great place, great unit. ##### Mark P. There was a couple of things that need attention, the refrigerator leaked bad & the sliding door wouldn't close good because the screws were stripped & got in the way.That's about it. As far as dishes, for those of us who cook most of the time we're there, they could use a variety of sizes of bowls w/snap on lids for leftovers. I brought my own SHARP knife this time because last time we went they didn't have one, I didn't check this time. The pool was very relaxing & so convenient along with the ocean. Then 5th Ave is half a block from here & Walmart is 4 or 5 blocks straight up the st. from the front of the condos. We walk there then take a taxi back, the workers come out wuth a shopping cart to take your groceries to your room.They are very good about cleaning the place every other day. The helpers around the pool are very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. Like I said going back....PLZ remember to tip anyone who helps you. I know some of them work 12 hrs a day 6 days a week. ##### Dwena B. Archival ### 8/10 Good #### Kim T. 1 Aug 2015 #### Nice rental, great location We enjoyed El Faro. The beds were comfortable, water was provided, Internet was good, and we loved the convenience of a first floor unit. One of the biggest pluses was Karla, who worked the desk and helped with our excursions and transfers. Pool was also kept up, buy your beer in cans and take it to the pool, there is no bar on-site. Security was also friendly and visible enough to make you feel safe. The unit has up to date appliances, but the dryer takes forever to dry (I think maybe because it's electric). The back door did not stay locked unless you locked it from the inside or outside, which was not convenient. And it's unfortunate people don't respect other people's furniture, the couch has several stains and a bathroom mirror is missing molding. These aren't things that took anything away from our stay, but the door was enough of a headache to knock my rating down 1 star. We did alert the management company, who sent someone put that day, however it was not fixed during our stay. The best part was location! Many great restaurants nearby, Starbucks is right on the corner, and you pass a cute little place that will make crepes for about $3 USD. You are right on the beach, close to the Cozumel ferry, and we loved the $30 60 minute massages right on site. We would stay again!!! ##### Kim T. Las instalaciones son de buen gusto, agradables y funcionales para familias. Nos gusto mucho! Solo hubo 2 detalles, las camas no eran cómodas las almohadas olían a sudor a pesar de que las fundas estaban limpias.
