Location:The hotel building is part old and part built in 2000, very much in the charming traditional Spanish style, inside and out. It's in a quite location 400m from the main road South of Vilaflor and within 5 minutes walking distance of La Escalona where there are alternative eating places. It's a steep walk back though!
Rooms: We had room 22 which has a small balcony looking towards the ocean, flat screen TV, bathroom with bath and shower over. Not big, but adequate. Beds were firm, but that's how I like them and there were additional pillows in the wardrobes if needed. It was all acceptably clean if not immaculate, but a little tired with the inevitable suitcase scuff marks on the walls. The bathroom was supplied with soap, combs, toothbrush & paste, shower caps and tissues, but oddly not shampoo. We were there 4 nights and had to ask for more soap. There was air conditioning, but we didn't need to use it in March. Note: Some rooms have a window which looks onto the corridor. Be sure to book a room with a window facing the ocean if you are there more than one night.
Food: We booked half board and were disappointed to find that we could not use the 20 Euro value against items off the a la carte menu. The set menu meals were quite good, but with only three choices you ended up either having something you didn't really want, or wasting the 20 euro half board cost and going for the a la carte menu with ample choice (and good food). The manager didn't want to help on this
