"We stayed here late September/early October. The villa is very well furnished and beautifully decorated, with everything you would want. The pool is large and surrounded by some lovely seating areas and sun loungers. Although it’s lovely, the pool would have benefitted with some extra heating T this time of year. Each room does have a large fan but there is no air conditioning in the villa. This didn’t bother us at all when we went but I cannot comment as to how cool the villa is in the height of summer. Thee are plenty of windows and doors to let the breeze in. Visitors should note there is a spiral staircase leading to three good sized bedrooms upstairs which is a bit tricky for older people, however there is one lovely bedroom on the ground floor which is easy to access. The villa is very centrally located, just a stones throw from restaurants, bars and shops, there was a bit of noise from the local bar sometimes but nothing really significant. The villa is within easy walking distance of the lovely beach, which has a lifeguard, sun beds and a lovely beach bar. Overall, an excellent stay and would love to come back to Menorca and would definitely use BookMenorcaVillas again"

"Nice location. Pleasant staff. Average hotel. Pros: The staff at the pool and the dining area were good. Cons: 1. As per the staff, tap water is not safe to drink. 2. Need to pay for every small things. Need to weigh your bags in cloak room---pay; need water---pay; want to use the safe---pay; need water when dining---pay! 3. Substandard rooms. Rooms felt like we were back to early 2000s 4. No basic toiletries (except for hand wash and shampoo) was provided. Body wash provided was actually hand wash soap. 5. As a first time traveller, any and all information about the stay, visit to the beach, travelling to other location etc. was severely lacking, i.e., it was not given automatically. Such information was provided only when asked. For example, we wanted to travel to the airport, so were told to take a bus, but no one told us from where to catch the bus. We were told (when the bus did not arrive from where we were expecting it to come) at the very last minute before departure where the bus would arrive (the location was behind the hotel premises). "

"Enjoyable stay, great location, lovely homely villa, beautiful outside area to eat in, although we did find the beds to be a bit hard, and the pool slightly chilly but a good size.Son Bou is a perfect location with great restaurants, shops, a beautiful beach and easy acces to explore the rest of the island (we hired a car)."

"The villa lived up to its description on the website. It felt like a home rather than the standard holiday firm rental villas. The standard was far superior to what I have previously experienced in Menorca. The host Gerald responded immediately to any queries and was very helpful with our late arrival and late departure. Although the villa has other villas nearby, it was very private and quiet. The view of the sea from the upstairs bedroom balcony was wonderful. We didn't have a car and so walked to the restaurants and beach. Because the villa is slightly uphill, this proved tiring for my friend in the heat. It would be something to bear in mind if you have mobility issues and don't have a car. There is a lovely bakery/cafe not far from the villa. The beach is about a 15 minute walk but is worth it. The sea is crystal clear. "
